Laveinn Homestay — Hotel in Kelantan

Stayed in this hotel during my recent overnight trip to Gua Musang. Due to the lack of available accomodation, we had no choice but to put the night in this hotel. Here's my review of the place. ||||Room (Family):||- 2 queen-size beds||- 4 pillows||- Air-con and TV available||||Location:||- Located in Gua Musang town||- Above shoplots||- Nearby 7-11 and other Malay restaurants||||Price:||RM 100 (Please note price is subjected to change)||||Pros:||-None. Nada. Zero. Zilch||||Cons:||- The room is so dirty that it looks like they never clean the place||- The room also has mosquitoes, ants and a baby cockroach (I kid you not)||- The bathroom is so disgustingly filthy that you would not want to bathe in it||- No toilet paper given||||Additional Notes:||- During check-in my boss and I wanted to take a room each however when we went to her room, the room that she was given had a water heater which was leaking and caused the entire bathroom floor to be semi-flooded. Since there was no other room left she decided to share with me, as advised by one of their staff..||- When we went to the reception to cancel the room that had the leaky water heater, they refused to refund the money for that room although we did not even move in yet. The reason they gave was that once it is entered into the system they cannot refund the money even though we are not staying in the room.||- After much negotiations, they finally returned the money for the room which we were not staying in.||||To be honest, it was quite traumatizing for me to stay in such a horrible place. I'm not expecting a five star hotel quality for a budget hotel but I do expect it to be at least clean and not infested with ants, mosquitoes and cockroaches. Do not be fooled by the pictures...

I'm a frequent traveler to Kota Bharu, and had limited budget for hotel. Seriously I'm not expecting a 4star level, only a clean n comfortable room. But this hotel really disappointed me!! |When I first checked in to the room, I started to regret why did I made a booking in agoda, otherwise I probably may able to seek for another hotel and ask here to charge on hourly basis. |The room is super tiny with a queen size bed. Walls are full of unclean paint stains/dirt stain. Doesn't seems anyone cleaning the room after check outs. Even stool with spider web around.|Toilet partition only half covered, smell flows through the room. Toilet is also very dirty, as bowl n sink full of stain where you would not dare to touch. Have to specifically ask for toilet paper. Toilet bowl stucked. |Mosquitoes around the room. |TV only had 3 channels, no other. |Have tried to ask for a refund that made through Agoda, and pay for hourly charge, was not being allow. Thus, force to have an unpleasant stay, afraid for the next day long hours drive back to KB. |I WOULD NOT...

The staff, an assortment of young men, were not very interested in anything. Cleaning left a bit to be desired, the sink was very grubby, and there were many cobwebs that a quick flick with the feather duster would have removed.||Breakfast with its blue rice was ok, but I couldn't face it two days in a row.||The room was tiny, as was the bathroom. The tv only had 3 channels one of which seemed to be controlled by the boys downstairs, so just getting into a film.....||It was midway between the bus and railway stations and closer to the old town which was very pleasant. All in all,not bad, but I wouldn't...
