Lawer guesthouse — Hotel in Langkawi Island

Lawer Guesthouse is not from airport. Just go North and along Jalan Lapangan Terbang. You will see the Lawer Guesthouse on the left side of the road after 40-minute walk.

The Lawer Guesthouse is under renovation and however, the rooms are well arranged for the guests.

I was upgraded by the owner to the double room so I can own larger space of room.

The room No. 2 has one closet, mirror, a bed with blanket and two pillows and Aircon. There is a water heater and closestool in the shower room.

Langkawi is the vacation spot and packpackers are uneasy to find the budget place for leisure. It's could not expected to be luxurious at room. However, I have more opportunities staying in Guesthouse to access the rice field and the life of locals than staying in resorts.

Because of the holidays (Haji festival) the owner was not in Guesthouse. But the owner sent me some messages before the arrival and offer the information of transportation and catering in the nearby. When I was already at home, the owner still asked me that I had other requirements or not. That's so warm for a single tourist.

I look forward to the renovated Lawer Guesthouse ASAP. Hope you could feel the hospitality of Lawer Guesthouse.

The room always keeps clean. However, because the guesthouse is located in the countryside, you may sometimes see ants or spiders in the room (but they will not appear...

Great,but i think its need to keep trying to give a better service soon,in fact,yeah im the only one book there cause of low price and kinda close to airport,but what i can expect from 4$ pernight? Just im kinda disappointed they doest have counter for check in and quite far...

C'est à l'écart de la ville donc il n'y a pas grand chose à côté à part une laverie automatique et un restaurant local (poisson excellent) mais le propriétaire peut demander que KERETA SEWA LANGKAWI vous amène un scooter pour 30 rm par jour (voir mon commentaire sur eux). La route est bruyante jusqu'à 22h. Les prises ne SONT PAS au format internationale, amenez un adaptateur. En France on dirait que la douche tient par l'intervention du saint esprit (une seule vis branlante) . Ici, vu le tapis de prière, ça doit être Allah qui est aux commandes. Bon boulot...
