Ocean Garden Langkawi — Hotel in Langkawi Island

I have left this place 2 days ago and already miss it! Sam and Moni are so friendly and kind, they made our stay so nice that we extended it from 2 days to 6! For the third night they offer you a free island hopping excursion to the Lake of the pregnant maiden. They also offered us a big plate of complimentary delicious fruits for the first night there. Helped a lot and so fast in finding a cheap car to rent. And they are always around to be sure you have everything you need. Even if you are late for breakfast they check that there is enough food left for you, and if there is not they make it fresh for you! Water and juices are in the fridge at guests' disposal 24/7! Needless to say the breakfast is included in the price, and in my country this kind of breakfast is eaten for lunch ;-) So we were basically fool till dinner, we ate only fruits during the day. And moreover, they gave us a significant discount and upgrade on a room, what else...

AS a result of having being taken off our cruise ship to a nearby hospital for observations [v bad chest infection] i was detained overnight, ship sailed and we had to seek alternative accomodation. My wife found this place and we enjoyed several days here whilst awaiting to arrange our flight back to UK. It was fairly basic but comfortable, on a bed n breakfast board, you were able to obtain meals from hotel next door. The ships agents were superb and were able to assist me in securing flights back to Uk - difficult as it was a couple of days before their new year. Langkawi Island is a delight to visit and we intend to return here to visit the locations we missed...lovely island and some of the most caring friendly people you'll meet... I was given all clear on my condition...

Now this is a great place to stay! we stayed here for 5 nights but i wish we would've stayed for 50! We found the place online and got a small room. When we got there we were made very welcome with a nice cooling glass of coconutmilk and we got an upgrade to a bigger room because there was one available. The owner and staff do everything they can to make you feel at home and they do so very well. The place is beautifull, very relaxing, has very nice breakfast, the rooms are very clean, the beds are amazing, the airco is good and quiet, the fridge is amazingly cold, has a great bathroom, has hundreds of tv channels and so on... Everything you could ever want is here! Amazing...
