A Famosa Villas — Hotel in Malacca

I am rating this for Unit 916. I have been to this villa twice before(different unit). Those units were awesome. Thats why decided to come here again for my family gathering. But this time, we were so unlucky to get this worst low class unit so called Villa 916. When compared price with other units, this 916 unit is expensive than the others. The moment you enters the house, the furniture & sofa will spoil your mood. They look so dirty, old & poorly managed. (Noodles cups on the table is mine & not a complimentary). Then the bathrooms. OMG. Even RnR washrooms are cleaner than this units bathroom. They were extremely dirty. Alot of stains on the floor. Broken window is replaced with wood piece. Water pressure of the shower is very low. Then the rooms, the ceiling conditions are so unsafe. Broken & spider webs everywhere. Queen beds were only provided with 1 blanket. We had only 8 so called blankets for 12pax. Those are not blankets. They are so low in quality like just a towel. Refrigerator & kitchen things looks so disgusting to be used. So please avoid this unit 916. Doesn't meet 50% of a villa's requirement. Interior looks like cheap...

I stayed twice here with my family, in Villa 998 and Villa 988. Both are beautiful and came with a rather decent sized pool along with 4 spacious bedrooms which can accomodate 8 pax comfortably.

The furnitures, facilities and overall facade of the villa looks well maintained and clean despite it's slightly old fashioned design.

Parking infront of the villa is very spacious and can easily fit 2 big sized SUV or up to 4 smaller sized vehicles.

Location is quite inconvenient though, as the villas are the deepest inside A Famosa's Resort area. And going from the main entrance of A Famosa Resort to the villa by car can easily take 10 minutes. So do plan ahead on meals if you plan to stay here. Best is to bring your own food and cook there.

Overall cant complain anything given the reasonable price paid. Will definitely...

The house location is easy to find. Price reasonable. Owner so humble. Facilies are in good condition. Big Parking space .But house not clean as we think. Water presure low. Only 3 rooms and not 4. Mini hall with karaoke facilities have to used as 4th room. No glass cups for drink and only plastic cup which is not suttable for hot water. Place need to be clean. The house maintenance people just over look only. The floor is dirty....
