NEW WAVE HOTEL NILAI — Hotel in Negeri Sembilan

Tbh it's like someone post this hotel online and yet they check me in using pen and a book.

No computer, just a pen and a book to record customer.

I book this hotel a month early and pay RM80, so when I went to check in and show my booking details to show proof I book and paid it online.

The receptionist check the booking details on my phone and then take a photo of it, no computer were involved.

Soon, once I'm in my room, the receptionist came to my room again and say my booking was cancelled, I was shocked, and then he tells me to pay RM60 more just to sleep at this hotel, which cause me to be furious because I already paid and it's 1 in the morning, and they only accept cash payment, no cards, which left a bad taste for me to this hotel, because there is no bank or ATM machine nearby, plus it's already 2 in the morning.

So I uses Grab, go to the nearest ATM machine, pay him, but ask him about a refund on my RM80 back, he says Agoda will refund me tomorrow, and the next morning, the receptionist is a different person but thank goodness he's know what to do in my situation.

So my point in this review is: IT dumb hotel (it's 2024, please learn to make use of the hotel using IT and computer)

All staff needs to go through a speech class (I'm not a racist, but the receptionist who started this problem is a Bangla, who doesn't speak basic Malay or English, I can see he understands me 10% but struggling 90% to explain himself )

Please delete your hotel of any online platform (because what's the use of it if you don't have a computer to check customer in and take the money from Agoda)

P. S. Don't book this hotel online, it will definitely be cancelled, they will tell you the book is cancelled but for my situation, it was cancelled on the spot when I'm already...

Guys!!! Do not stay or book at here srsly like *.. staff very rude to customers. I already book and paid 2week before the actual date i’ll arrive. Unfortunately they just said to me all room were full and does not have any empty room.. Thats was shock i told them i already paid how they dont have any room for me!!! That was so *.. 2 days before i arrive i also call just to makesure my book already been notify by them. But end up, when my mom want to check in they said that i dont inform. What the hell!! If i not mistaken, they cannot give our room easily if we did not checkin on that day because we already paid for it unless we didnt pay any! Plus!!! They also said that if we checkin late for example after 3pm they will give our room to others. Nonsense!! In their website also stated that checkin hours from 2pm to 6pm.. meanwhile my family arrive around 4pm For those want to book this hotel please double check and be careful even-though the price is reasonable but the service...

We stayed three nights for the f1 when we arrived we were a little worried its not easy to find only local taxi drives know where it is. The outside of the hotel is on a dusty old road with little going on other then an a amazing little Indian place selling fantastic roti and Dahl. The staff were friendly and helped us with laundry for a very cheep price. They also sell drinks. The room it self was clean enough with good AC and shower. It's not the quietest at night with the main road and some of the other guests bring loud into the early morning but they took the knock on the door asking them to be shut up well and with a sorry! Getting to the f1 wasn't a issue just picked up a cab outside for 35rm each way it is a bit of a trek but the f1 is a pain trying to leave anyway. If your western you will get some funny looks in this area. But don't let that stop you staying here. They are on the whole keen to stay hello and find out where...
