OYO 89873 Nurbayu Chalet — Hotel in Pahang

In summary - Terrible experience

Prior choosing this place, there are three different map markers in Google Map which shows mixed review. As we are trying to support Malay-owned business property, we have decided to book this accommodation.

Unfortunately, few days after checking out from this property, we received a long accusatory message from the owner / site operator because of few uploaded pictures of water puddles and increased water level that occur at the property during our arrival. Bear in mind that this happens during heavy monsoon season which result in recent massive flood in the numerous places in Malaysia Peninsular.

We have yet to write proper review of the property at that time due to frequent internet disruption during our journey. We deeply regret the misunderstanding caused by the uploaded photos.

The content of the long message received includes '..apakah tujuan masukkan gambar air dalam google, menjatuhkan business sesama melayu... ' and '...tiada kebaikan lansung ke tempat kami..' No clarification was requested by the owner / site operator to us prior blasting the long seditious message.

We acknowledge that fast action were taken by the owner/staff to rectify the issue and were planning to upload a detailed review later once we arrived safely after multiple detuor due to the flood.

Oyo Nurbayu Chalet is a part of a large, privately own, luxurious property. However, chalet industry is still a part of hospitality industry.

The mannerism and attiude of the owner/staff when dealing with guests reflects onto the hospitality of the accommodation. This further impact onto the reputation and thus review of the accommodation.

We are deeply disappointed with how the issue are dealt by the owner / site operator. Thank you for the gestures and experience.

It's exactly you get what you pay.

No doubt it is very cheap and valuable. RM72 per night for a spacious and clean aircond room with private bathroom for 2 person. You can't ask for more like the quality of bed and sofa as they are not so comfortable.

And it was not so complete in supply of toiletries like shampoo. I would like to suggest owner to change the old bath towel as it was dirty and with hole.

*This chalet is not near to the beach. It can't walk to beach directly...

already confirmed order 2 rooms for 2 nights on 2 months before, but when we want to check in the owner said there’s no available room. How can there’s no available room when in-app booking still have available booking. Very bad management and not reliable. 0 star in my opinion.
