Pekan Budget Hotel — Hotel in Pahang

I recently stayed at room number B-5, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The hotel's location is conveniently situated in the city center. However, several issues marred my stay.

Firstly, the door in my room can't lock properly due to broken, which was concerning for security reasons. Additionally, the water heater knob was also broken too, rendering it unusable. This made showering quite uncomfortable, especially considering water not too hot.

The bed was equipped with a thin spring mattress, which was not very comfortable to sleep on. The lack of proper bedding affected my quality of sleep during my stay. Furthermore, the TV in the room only had two channels available, limiting entertainment options.

Considering these issues, I believe that the RM85 charged for the room was not worth it. While the hotel's location is convenient, the lack of basic amenities and maintenance in the room significantly detracted from the...

I spent two nights at this hotel last December-2018.The hotel IS good value at only RM80 per night.However I felt that security might be a problem because it is possible to walk down the corridor where the rooms are without going anywhere near the hotel reception.This I did accidentally when I first arrived.Reception itself is tiny and the receptionist himself gave little help when I was checking in.Having checked in I was given a towel,the remote control for the T.V.,the remote control for the A.C. and a bar of soap-all of which I took to my room along with my luggage-it was like a scene from a prison movie when the inmate first arrives !!...However,the hotel is very central to the sights in Pekan and within easy walking distance to the bus station...I probably won't ever stay there again but can award it...

The rooms ARE NOT spacious - they are not 30sq mtrs! They are more like 15 sq mts.||When I arrived, I was told that the room with the queen bed I wanted was unavailable and I'd have to a take a room with two twins for my wife and I. I said "Okay, can I see the room?" The room had a terrible smokey odor so I refused it, then the woman showed me another room, which I also refused - then, all of a sudden, there was a room with a queen bed available. All three rooms were TINY. There are no 30 sq meter rooms in this hotel and the advertising on Booking and Agoda should be changed.||Help at front desk was less than helpful. I...
