Went with two families with three kids between 8-12years. The location was good remote and peaceful with a river touching the property.

The food was pretty decent - ate to our full and even gained weight! Good variety and delicious. Also good variety of drinks at the buffet. I liked the fact that each group was allocated a table for their own so there was no stress for looking for places to sit.

The staff were excellent and friendly and very helpful. We are tourists from abroad and unlike most people we didn’t come with our own car - and Most of the GRAB drivers refused to come collect us - (two car did come in the end but took us a good 30min of refreshing and requesting. But in the meantime the staff went all out looking for solutions to assist us so 100% as far as their staff are concerned.

Activities there are quite a few to pick from - board games - paintball - abseiling - white water rafting - badminton - we did the ATV which was hands down the best one I have done compared to most countries I have been to. Good scenery. Good guide . Good machines and they maintained safety very well - I was with my 8 year old.

Just note that the toilets and showers though quite clean are all located outside of the tent. I guess my fault I should have done more research as I was under impression the toilets and showers were inside the tents like they are in Tanzania. That’s on me.

The night fire show and then camp fire story telling I feel were excellent entertainment for kids.

Oh yes . And their merch shop is surprisingly affordable!

The 4/5 star was for the room - beds were excellent and comfy but the air con was leaking - that is it. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Things they could add - archery / horse riding / pool table / darts / fishing / maybe even group ice...

Summary: Not family friendly, timings are very late at night, toilets and shower very dirty, dinner buffet was pretty bad. We went to Gopeng Glamping Site as a multi-generational family and would not recommend. Toilets and shower are really bad. Only one clean a day. In the early morning before the cleaners come, the sink is clogged. The drains are clogged. The floor is so dirty, and there is no more toilet paper left. You should have multiple cleanings per day. So disgusting, this is a real dealbreaker for me. Also, you buy the cheapest materials, the shower is cheap and the toilet seat is cheap, so always break down. Half the knobs come off. Also, this place is not suitable for families with children, as there are loud performances until 11am. I didn't expect the fire show to be VERY LOUD, music like club blasting LOUD TECHNO at 10 pm at night. Sleeping tents only 10 meters away. Tents have no sound insulation so if you want to just have chill evening, not possible. You should put the show and performance away from sleeping areas like in some of the other glamping places I been to. Lastly, dinner is so late at 8pm start! Digestion is very hard! Should start at 6pm. By 8pm, everyone very hungry and massive rush to the buffet. Long queues. If the buffet start at 6pm, it will be more staggered. Also, buffet is very bad quality. We ate here one night and then went outside to eat. It's cheap chicken nuggets, under-BBQ chicken, canned mushroom soup, that kind of thing. The plus side it is cheap. The negative: We would not eat here again. Lastly, the highlight is that the activity staff was super enthuastic and really kind and welcoming. Fun...

Great experience! Would definitely visit again! Beautiful place, great for retreat! Cooling at night, campfire was perfect!

Tent was clean, must top up for air-con makes everything so much more comfy and enjoyable. Bed and pillows were soft and nice.

Water rafting was so fun and memorable! had to ride a rough ride on the back or lorry to the river tho

staffs were mostly Malay, but super friendly! definitely not racist as the previous comments states! Literally all of them were so helpful and had a smile on their faces. Especially Mando, fire-show performer and water rafting instructor. Super friendly and really does his job really well!

Place very well maintained! Saw the staffs wiping down every corner of the kitchen after dinner, literally every spot!! Morning also they cleaned up all the dried leaves around the area, cleaned trampoline and bouncing castle and washed all toilets. We were really impressed!

Down sides:

Toilet always no toilet paper, only morning will refill

Breakfast runs out around 9am although it is 8-9:30 and staffs did not refill, kitchen staffs should be more aware of the food left and be ready to refill anytime.

DO NOT GO FOR PAINTBALL felt scammed!!! field is small, brochure says 3 hours but ended up playing only 10-15 mins excluding briefing. Only had two rounds (supposedly 150 pallets but felt like 50 only) Staff only pour one cup in (not even full cup) and say its 75 pallets. But he was really friendly and nice.

Many flies 😱

Rubber shoes for water rafting should have a rack to place the sizes, hard to find a perfect pair as all were just dumped into the baskets. Some were...

A very good place to have fun with your friends/family! All the staffs are super friendly, good foods, enjoyable activities, nice & clean environment. There are few things me & my friends are impressed of & deserve a praise: - they reserved table for each meal time by putting our name (we don't have to waste time to find a table to eat) - plenty toilets/washrooms that scattered all over the glamping site to choose from - they even provide water heater, soap & even hairdryer in the bathroom - tents are spacious. Cloth hanger, mini table, rack, air purifier, stand fan and lots of pillows are provided - All the foods are really delicious! Variety of foods to choose for every meal - Many other place to play around/rest like the trampoline, hammock, archery, rabbit farm, archery, place to play boardgames - Entertaining fire show at night if the weather is clear - There is a surau provided to pray & even have iron+ ironing board there - Well trained trainers for the activity : they provide snacks & drinks during activity - The staff even took high quality pictures & videos (using iPhone 13 & go pro) during rafting activity so you don't have to worry on not bringing phone there - Eventhough there is some technical issue happened (our names are not listed on atv ride) which we are supposed to start at 9am, but the staffs handled it well by apologizing and let us ride the bicycles provided for free! (which cost rm5 per bike) and start atv ride later at 11am Overall experience is beyond expectation because we truly enjoy this place & even plan on coming again to try other activities😋 Highly recommended!
