MyDusun Stay — Hotel in Perak

5-star rating because it achieves everything needed for a dusun stay-in. I went to disconnect from busy schedules, and definitely got what I wanted.

It's traditional-concept, so think of it as a visit to your grandfather's orchard, who happens to rent out his rooms; taken care of some super polite staff. Stay away from your phones, sit back, and enjoy being immersed in the scenery.

This concept is far more suitable for real world families, with lots beds per room.

There are shortcomings but is a feature and not a bug:

1. Slight whiff of kampung house aroma, but this is how a house around an orchard is supposed to smell like.
2. the top floor is not so sound proof, but this is how a kampung house is suppose to be.

It was rainy when we arrived, we took our umbrellas and walked from the carpark to the place. The owner actually noticed us earlier and were ready with their umbrella to escort us in. How thoughtful! 😍 The room itself is adequate for a kampung vibe which I like. Surrounded by durian orchard. With aircon, fan and attached toilet. There is a dapur on the same level with TV. Free coffee and tea. Same vibe I felt with the now closed Teluk Iskandar Inn. Got attached cafe but only open on weekends. The owner answered all our queries on Taiping which I appreciate very much. The only improvement maybe on the ants enroaching into the room from the greeneries. Other than that, it was a perfect, affordable...

If you have important trip and need a place stay will recommend this place. Good for your wallet and have basic needs. If you have kids and looking for few day stay ats.. the place bit not recommended. The quality of the 1st floor is bit scary and I doubt if they have proper approval for the chalets... and they have cats around so if you have allergy please avoid this place. If they improved on the chalets quality... surely a nice place as the...
