The Halt Tiny House — Hotel in Perak

Came here for a gathering and the short trip was a-okay experience. Here's what my experience feels like :- Check-in is good. The owner is there as soon as we arrive. Aesthetic place to take pictures and videos. Cold AC, clean toilet, water heater is provided, clean bed and mattress. The house and pool area is fairly clean. Do beware there are a lot of mosquitoes, ants and bugs. One Shieldtox was provided, but we're grilling, so we couldn't just spray as we'd like. The mosquitoes are everywhere around the area, including the pool except indoors. We went home with lots of mosquitoes bites on our bodies. The BBQ grill was not cleaned properly, and we had to do it by ourselves. But we also bought aluminium foil because we were not confident that the grill was super clean. There is only 1 toilet in each house, so do mind the waiting time if you are coming in a large group. The breakfast provided was good but it was delivered very late in the morning at about 10-10.30 am. There is a cctv facing the pool, so beware for hijabis group. Stairs in the tiny home is are super dangerous for senior citizens and kids. The parking area is big, can easily...

It was a fantastic experience. The house was impeccably clean, with charming decorations that made us feel welcomed right from the start, including a thoughtful welcome sign. The toilet was spotless, smelled fresh, and had all the basic essentials we needed. The pool was just the right size for my kids to enjoy safely. Surrounded by lush greenery, the environment was incredibly refreshing. The BBQ area was satisfying, with well-prepared and delicious BBQ supplies provided(upon request and with reasonable charges). There was no shortage of entertainment, with plenty of games like carrom, darts, and cards to keep us busy. Breakfast was a treat, featuring delicious local favorites like nasi lemak, roti canai, and traditional kuih.

One suggestion would be to improve the parking layout for easier access, and perhaps add another door to the toilet for direct access from the pool area. Overall, highly...

Came here for a family day, and here are the pros of this place, in my opinion: Self check-in process was convenient and hassle-free. Ample parking space that can fit up to 5 cars. Nicely decorated interior and exterior. Surrounded by nature, away from the neighborhood, offering a peaceful atmosphere. BBQ pit provided for outdoor cooking. Coway water dispenser available. Decent-sized pool located between the houses. Here are the cons you might want to consider about this place: You cannot cook or eat inside the house, which feels impractical for a homestay, especially since the designated eating area is very small. It was raining when we visited, making it quite inconvenient. Guests who aren’t registered are not allowed to enter. You cannot bring extra mattresses or similar items.
