Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by none other than the amiable owner, Tok Mat himself. His affable nature and engaging conversation set a pleasant tone for our stay. The dedication of the local university interns, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, was truly commendable. Despite unforeseen circumstances, they tirelessly worked overtime to prepare a scrumptious BBQ dinner, epitomizing exceptional hospitality.

One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the luxurious comfort of the tents. Equipped with all the necessary amenities, they provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. Our gathering was made all the more enjoyable amidst the tranquil surroundings.

While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there is room for improvement in the PR department. The demeanor of the marketing personnel left much to be desired, lacking the warmth and friendliness exhibited by the rest of the staff. However, any shortcomings were swiftly overshadowed by the exemplary service of the owner and interns.

Tok Mat Glamping site is situated on a fringe of a mining pool and a fish pond. A perfect location if you are an avid angler. It is surrounded by tall durian trees and oil palms. The atmosphere is really serene since you are closely embraced by nature. If you are running away from the hustle and bustle of the city this is definitely a place to be. What surprised me is, you are served with scones for breakfast and evening tea. For me it is a luxury, since you rarely find scones even in bakeries in big towns. I recall the one place in Malaysia that I used to enjoy scones with a cup of tea is in a tea plantation in Cameron Highlands. Isn't it cool to enjoy scones in a kampong environment. had a simple gathering with friends. the tent are tidy, the area are nice and you got real feel of camping but at a proper location. dont worry if raining, you will survive.

the toilets are clean. the breakfast is delicious.

we also had kayak and paddle boat here. at night, we had campfire. we also enjoy the swimming pool. there are kids and adult swimming pool. you can also ride bicycle for free here.
