Adil Waterhouse Resort — Hotel in Sabah

This is a Waterhouse but not a resort. Below with my experience for your reference.

1. No toiletries, cloth hanger, wall hook are provided. Get all ready prior to the Waterhouse.

2. Transport mode only by speed boat and basically trapped at the Waterhouse due to additional charges is required if you wish to travel to town. Must pre arrange with the staff to prevent delay in your trip.

3. Foods served four times per day: breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner at a specific timing. Taste were salty and seafood wise, they only served prawn, crab and fish thought out the 4 days 3 nights stay. Coffee and tea are provided at the dining area. Advise to bring own coffee and tea if you have high expectations. Drinking water is also provided but do check with the staff for hot water.

4. Room condition was below average expectations where the blanket with stained and mould. Sound pollution started at 3am where the boats passed by the balcony and I woke up at 3am everyday. Saw a big cockroach at six people room (room 1) on the day 1 night.

5. Electricity Supply with time limit where 6am to 6pm only can on solar fan and solar light. Air conditioning, water heater, and water supply only available after 6pm to 6am. (They might off the supply early 1-2 hours) MUST save water in the big pile they provided to prevent out of sudden of supply terminate. My friend trapped in the washroom for 1 hour due to no water supply and forgot to save water in the pile.

6. Facilities shared only the crystal boat is free of charge on the day 1 we arrived. On the 3rd day only we been informed of the zip line and no one offer us the Karaoke entertainment when we back the Waterhouse early on day 2 at 3pm.

7. Spectacular view and sunset view from room balcony really added points to the stay. Rubbish floated on the sea started from 7am to 3pm or 4 pm depend on how many rubbish disposed from the town.

Hope that management team can work on the room condition, food served, transport arrangements, and staff service. Can sell toiletries and mineral water at the Waterhouse for guests to purchase. Please do not throw rubbish to the sea. Semporna is a nice place to enjoy the nature and crystal clear sea water.

The boss was very slow in replying to messages on the website. It cost 150 ringgit per person for the boat ride to the water house. The air conditioning could only be used from 6 pm to 5 pm. However, the generator was broken, so we could only use the air conditioning from 9 pm to 3 am. When we wanted to take a bath, the water flow was even smaller than when urinating. The toilet had no flushing function and we could only use a basin of water to flush. Moreover, the water flow from the faucet was also very small. At around 7:30 am, the staff woke us up, saying that the water level was very low and we needed to leave the water house after breakfast, otherwise the boat wouldn't be able to leave. 1.lokasi- berdekatan dengan jeti jadi boat sentiasa lalu lalang tidak kira masa.Kawasan sekeliling resort bnyak sampah sbb dekat dgn jeti mereka tidak jaga kebersihan jadi sampah sampai ke resort.bg saya tak sesuai untuk mandi dan bnyak benda di dasar air yg kita blh nmpak tak sedap mata memandang. 2.bilik-ok bagi saya.bilik saya luas gila.ada balkoni depan belakang.tiada toiletries disediakan.tiada aircond waktu siang sbb selLu guest kluar waktu siang.siang cuma ada kipas.nak mandi mesti sebelum jam 6 pg sbb slpas 6 pg tiada elektrik jadi tiada lampu dan water heater dlam bilik mandi. 3.Mkan-Jangan expect 4 star hotel.Minum ptg ada goreng pisang ok lah kan.makn mlm dan tengahari meal yg berat dan bnyak seafood.Bayangkan kami 3 org saja di resort.the next day saya bgtau jangan masak banyak banyak sbb kami xmkn banyak baru dia masak sikit.Cuma ketam 2 hari tak berapa fresh saya sakit perot.hari kedua saya xmakan. 4.Zipline dan transparent boat dan karaoke adalah percuma tapi masa saya pergi zipline under maintainance dan karaoke tK minat pasai kami ber3 saja.Tapi transparent boat saya teringin tapi takut.nasib baik staff diorang teman 5.Staf-Ya Allah dorang semua baik baik dan helpfull.saya mnyesal tlupa amik gambar dgn dorg.Ika dia tukang masak dan pandai masak.Ada rasa lah semua masakan.Saya bgtau dia esok pag saya xnak nasi goreng dia buatkan kami bihunngoreng walaupun bihun goreng bodoh tapi sedap tq ika.Saya juga minta dorg uruskan kreta sewa untuk bawa saya jalan jalan tawau 1 hari dgnnharga berpatutan. 6.Island hopping-saya dan suami frust sbb ketika island hopping hujan lebat.saya pilih kapalai dan mabul.myesal saya xturun mabul.sbb lepas tu hujan berhenti kami hnya duduk dalam bot sahaja.
