Selakan Dive Lodge — Hotel in Sabah

A hidden gem within the turquoise waters of the Tun Sakaran Marine Park. Spectacular sunrise & sunset panorama from your balcony. Comfortable Rooms are quad sharing with ensuite toilet and air conditioning. Breakfast, Lunch, Tea & Dinner is provided by the owner. Food is basic but extremely fresh and caught straight from the ocean. Enjoyed the Sea Urchin Eggs prepared impromptu "Kinilau " style. The Nasi Lemak breakfast with Crispy fried squid was fantastic. My Gastronomic highlight of the lodge must be the freshly grilled Tuna, Wahu, Ahi and Lobster which was bought from the boat of the Sea Gypsies next door. Seafood variety is often seasonal and depends on the time of your visit. There is also opportunity to explore the island and interact with local Selakan Island village people. I stayed for 3 days in April 2022, and felt that I should have extended my stay here. Хорошее место для уединённого отдыха. Отдыхали семьёй из двух взрослых и двух детей (3 и 6 лет)

Комната была с кондиционером, с хорошими матрасами и подушками. Туалет без горячей воды, но мне кажется, что в этом климате это не обязательно.

В целом же у нас остались только положительные эмоции. Уединенно, красиво, еда свежая и вкусная.

В течение двух дней мы ездили купаться на острова. Это было также классно: лодка была только на нашу семью из 4х человек. Часто мы приезжали на острова, где почти не было людей кроме нас!

К сожалению, не удалось посетить Mataking, я заранее не обговаривала его посещение с хозяином. Возможно, если бы заранее озвучила свое желание, все бы случилось!

Ещё один день мы провели на острове Selakan, на котором расположен отель. Погуляли по лесу на острове, вышли к заранее намеченному каменному мысу. Детям понравилось, но снорк вокруг острова бедный, редко попадаются...
