It is difficult to find resorts that has waterfall inside remote areas with nice room. However there are many things that can be improved to make it more family friendly and coherent resort. Below are my feedback/suggestions:

  1. road to the resort is those rocky road around 2-3 km however this nothing much they can do as road doesn't belong to them
  2. entrance n lobby - the new entrance guard post looks nice n under construction while the lobby definitely stand out classy but could include some welcome drink/cold towel. We were taken via tractor wagon to our room good experience
  3. stayed in ginger lily room is nice brick double deck beds where my children enjoyed it. However the dual toilets r bit impractical as not really covered all. Imagined when u r doing big business, your partner could hear the sounds. Even partner will feel awkward what if friends?
  4. waterfall area - the hut r net mostly r out of service not sure if those r from old resorts. Water dispenser could be provided recycle/filter water fall water for drinking very good idea. Water current is bit strong kids need to be careful
  5. hot spring - sick of walking about 15m from my room to hot spring as no buggy is provided. They give u WhatsApp no to contact but either didn't pick up or ffk. Imagine u carrying small kids n bunch of towels/bags/snacks really speeches. There is no seat or proper place to put sandles/shoes, should consider during construction but if you put in cabinet n rattan chair will be very funny not uniform. The toilet next to hot spring but only shower cubicles, moreover is those public toilet level not resort level. Shall put a towel station over here.
  6. dining hall - is like canteen, space is not so sufficient with full capacity crowd. There is high chair provided but sadly kids utensils without spoon :( some of the spots r super hot without fan those row of seats near the spa entrance.
  7. food variety - this is something I have many comments not the food taste but being family friendly resorts, my kids r eating vegetarian most of the time because those meats (fish/chicken) most of the meals r spicy. Even we highlighted to the management on first dinnerz second day lunch ok since fry chicken but dinner again both spicy 🄵. They said if can't eat can tell them they ll cook for u but the problem is kids r hungry by the time we reach there only c the foods n if wait for the cooking the kids will be throwing tantrum already. Food variety is limited, 2 meats n 2 Vege with rice only for lunch n dinner is bit like economy rice for the price I paid I would expect something more. Breakfast is chicken porridge, fry noodle + l bread with marjerin only no butter, half n full boiled eggs. Coffee is using those sin sing coffe bag n tea. There is watermelon every breakfast n dinner with salad. What a pity about the food is they FAILED to exhibit their own beacon chicken that taste good n doesn't have the typical not fresh chicken smell since all the chicken dishes r either fry or curry I feel not so healthy maybe becos I m on diet:), they should make steam chicken like the beacon chicken rice occasionally. I m bit frustrated with the type of tissue given those typical kopitiam small size tissue paper only put 2 boxes near the spoon/fork basket. Especially with kids, I need to take few sheet to make a wipe..though is small size looks to save money but I m sure ppl have to use more sheets end up maybe more expensive than typical normal size tissues. The kids bowl we used every meal but everytime also didn't wash properly still with oil stain ! Lastly, we just stayed 3D2N we r almost want to drive out to eat already as the dishes also repeating like the fry fish 2N was same. Real economy rice u have ample of choices but this economy rice only have 2 meats n 2 Vege with repeating variety. Don't think anyone will stay beyond 3D2N that can enjoy eating the foods. My kids gave the room 1mil stars but the food 0 star.
  8. buggy - published buggy for check in n check out only. Being a kids friendly resort, what is it so difficult to...

I recently had a 3D2N stay at this resort and I absolutely loved this place. It was serene and calming, and it was a great place to stay away from the bustling city for a while. I went with my friends and we truly enjoyed the facilities, and the free mookata upgrade was delicious! Not only that, but the buffet meals provided were great as well, especially the breakfast. We also really enjoyed the riverside and hot spring, and absolutely loved that one goat that was tied up with a red rope because it was really funny. We stayed in Lavender rooms and we truly enjoyed the room as well. We were also reminded a few times about the road leading up to the resort so we knew what we had to endure before reaching the resort, which was good and we kind of just had fun along the way.

However, I do have a few suggestions as feedback for improvement: The WiFi connection in the rooms was really bad, and even after a few calls to customer service, it didn’t improve and we had to rely on our friends phone which had line for hotspot because we had messages that we had to reply in time. Do download content or bring books beforehand or bring games to spend time.

The balcony door could be better sealed. Our next door customers were smoking outside at the balcony and the smoke wafted into our room, which was really unpleasant. Even after complaining to customer service, they did stop for a while but resumed smoking. We didn’t dare do anything as they were a group of men and didn’t want them to harass us since the balcony was connected. We saw the resorts policy on smoking the next day though, on how you guys want to do a non-smoking resort, so I guess you guys probably have to reinforce that properly. As for the next night, it was raining and there were a lot of insects at the balcony. Even with the balcony doors closed and shut, the insects found their way in and we kind of just gave up because there were so many insects crawling around in our room. Thankfully it didn’t really bother us, but for those who are scared of insects they definitely would not have a good nights sleep.

Inconsistent promotions at Beacon mart. We were told on the first day there that if you purchased RM20 of products you would get a pack of chicken for RM1 as long as you have something pink on you. Obviously we waited till the third day to do purchases, but on that day, the same lady who told us of the promotion that day told us that we got the wrong info and we needed to spend RM30 instead. She then proceeded to ask us where we got the wrong information and when we said it was from her, she said she never said that before. Since there were no brochures that we could refer to, we could only listen to whatever the lady said that day. It was a bad purchasing experience and at first we all were set to buy something, and ended up only 2 out of 6 of us bought something.

The White Bar. Even though the name as a bar, it was literally a coffee shop, providing coffee and non-caffeinated drinks such as chocolate and matcha. I’m not sure who drinks coffee at night but we don’t so it was a little disappointing.

All in all, we all loved this resort and would return in a few years time, provided that the resort has been largely improved with...

A truly magnificent place, the scenery is astonishing, too bad my phone camera didn’t do justice to its beauty.

Our room had slight problem upon checking in, we contacted their customer service and they were prompt in solving our issue. We booked the White Jasmine B room, it is slightly narrow but it’s beautiful and clean.

I’m kinda torn between liking and not liking the location. The place is quite secluded, the road in to the resort is bumpy, sandy and rocky. So if there’s anything you need, better get it before you enter the resort as going in and out is inconvenient. The resort is still under construction and we’re guessing they may construct a proper road in the future but that may be a year or two later. Yet, the location itself is what gives it it’s peaceful, serenest and fresh air, which is what I look for from resorts, away from the buzz of the city, and it’s only an hour half from KL.

The food itself is quite good, limited choices, around 4/5 dishes for lunch and dinner, unless you add on steamboat/bbq. The salads are fresh and goes well with the dressing. Lots of flies which is to be expected with an open space restaurant.

The river is great for chilling during the hot day, it’s quite deep and there’s lots of rocks, so precaution needed when taking children along. The hot spring is extremely beautiful at night, suitable to get a warm bath after dinner. Public toilets available near the river and hot spring, clean and well maintained. The jungle trekking is not paved trail, so expect to get a little dirty, it’s easy for some experienced hikers but those without any experience might find it a bit challenging.

A thumbs up for their great service, they greeted us with a smile and helped unload our luggage. They have buggy cars to transport visitors around. Would like to especially mention Elyne for her great service, she patiently answered our questions, and as we thought their breakfast was chicken porridge, we requested her to help leave a bowl of plain porridge for our aunt who’s vegetarian, Elyne gave a big bowl of vegan porridge and fried noodles for breakfast, and even went the extra mile to prepare a few vegan dishes for lunch, a big thanks for her diligence šŸ‘

A small suggestion, small signboards can be added inside the resort, I had to browse through the official website for the map as the place is quite big and we didn’t know where’s the dining hall after checking in our room šŸ˜‚

Lastly, do take note that their spa is still under construction, so the hot/cold hydrogen spa and the full aromatherapy massage should only be available around March or April according to their PIC (only the Aroma Pain Relieve for hand was available during our stay). Overall would give it a 4.5, worth the price paid and will definitely revisit. The remaining 0.5 will be given when the proper road is built šŸ˜† Thanks for the pleasant experience, hope that the management will maintain...
