We have been to kalumpang, tg malim area before but was our first time stay here at happy valley. Our family of four had low expectations in the middle of an oil palm plantation but we were delighted to be proven wrong. It was tranquil, peaceful and quiet as compared to kl. Rooms were very comfortable, spacious with proper AC, fan and water heater. Only drawback was our view was to the back rather than the nicer river view. Average wifi service but still very good mobile line reception. We spent a lot of times outside so did not get a chance to see the farm animals or use the atv or go fishing, hiking, swimming. Staff there were pleasant, informative and helpful overall but do not expect too much on regular housekeeping. Breakfast was provided for us (including their own farm fruits) and we loved it. Lunch and dinner, we had outside at nearby kalumpang township / new village. Should you drive out, my personal opinion is to get back by sunset, otherwise there are no road street lamps in the dark ladang kelapa sawit. Before we left, we had a chance to purchase fresh, natural goat's milk which i enjoyed very much. Highly recommended stay, already plan to come back again in the...
Read moreIt is better than I expected. I will recommend to other family members and friends. The place is child friendly. Our room and toilet was clean upon check in. The best part is that the facilities can be use with no extra charge. We played ping pong, snooker when it was raining. Karaoke room is right beside our room, but there was minimal sound disturbance as we can sleep just fine with small children. The animal shed is clean. I can see the staff cleaning from time to time. Pool was cleaned early morning by staff as I walked pass for my morning walk. If you are planning to come, bring your sports shoes. Rain boots are also recommended if you want the full experience to walk into the goat shed and rabbit enclosure. Plenty of peacock to see up close. Breakfast is amazing as well, Nasi Lemak with organic eggs, very delicious. Staff were all friendly, helpful and did an amazing job...
Read moreCame here for a night stay in June 2025. Room was clean and spacious (we rented the 5 beds room type). Came with air cond ceiling fan toilet with hot shower.
Many spots around the whole resort to explore. Many fruit trees like durian mangosteen banana papaya guava etc. It wasn’t durian season but we saw a few durians on trees here and there.
They have some animal farm such as goats horse chickens ducks swans rabbits etc.
Breakfast was simple Malaysian style like fried beehoon noodles nasi lemak fruits coffee and tea. The only issue with breakfast is the numbers of houseflies around the food area and eating areas.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Overall a Good stay for us and...
