The house is big , 5 rooms with attached toilet . toilet also spacious . No bathtub la. No TV but wifi is decent. View also nice. Breakfast place literally few steps away .(nasi lemak kerang, nasi kerabu ayam bakar, nasi dagang etc ) don't trouble yourself to buy stuffs to cook la,enjoy the time to yourself . And across the road you have restaurants you can get lunch and dinner . They have barbeque place ,but only nice if there is no rain. Last night we still did the bbq despite the rain . The beach is full of plastics trash. Consider picking up the trash as a good group activity. You can fish, can play beach volleyball here .

Nice beach house. Clean and spacious. Even suitable for disables. Unfortunately the beach isn't so clean. They should also have a Tv in the common area as they have all other facilities in the house. The iron & ironing board is in the common space upstairs and they have a washing machine kept in a wooden crate in the porch area. Not too sure whether it is usable or not. You also need transportation to get to the nearest food stall, unless you call for Food Panda or Grab Food. If you use Google Map or Waze to get to the house, it will lead you to the opposite side of the road, when the house is actually by the beach itself.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful, clean and most importantly the host, Chris is very accomodating. Located just a few meters from the beach (which you can swim), the rooms are of good size and it was very calming with sea breeze just swooping your face at night time. I got a single room facing the beach and connected to the verandah which was nice. There is no aircon, no TV, which is ok for me. A gazebo which you can hang around and even ask the kedai makan beside this bungalow to send you food to dine there. Excellent!

Situated between Marang and Kuala Terangganu on the east coast of Malaysia, Che Beach House was an unequaled gem of a place for us in the uncertainty of the covid-19 shutdowns worldwide. The hosts could not do enough for us to keep us safe and informed of developments, particularly in Malaysia. Che Beach House is a small guesthouse with a small number of rooms, placed directly on the top of the beach. It is relatively new. ||||We were allocated a nicely decorated queen-bed airconditioned room, which was on the lower floor. It was exceptionally clean and the bed comfortable. The room had a wardrobe and towel airing rack. There was no television. ||||There is no breakfast available, but we had full use of the small kitchen. No cooktop, but there was a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, toaster, electric kettle and microwave. There was unlimited hot and cold filtered water available from a free standing dispenser. There was a Treleaf supermarket within walking distance to buy any needed groceries.||||Outdoors, there was a covered area for us to park our hire car so it was off the street at night. Two outdoor sitting areas, one part of the building itself and a pergola with chairs coffee table and hammock directly on the top of the beach. A perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee or tea and catch the sea breeze.||||Chris removes garbage from their stretch of beach nearly daily. It seems to be washed in on the tide. Neighbours played with children in the afternoon, but other than that I never saw anyone else on the beach. It was windy when we were there, so though the sea was clean, clear and enticing to look at, we deemed it too rough to swim. The sand is course and golden. Still pleasant to walk on for an early morning or late afternoon stroll.||||We would especially like to thank the hosts for a very pleasant, quiet and relaxing stay. Chris, thank you so much for the kindness shown and advice given when it became obvious we would have to return to Australia. We fully intend to return when all the covid-19 madness is over and continue our journey...

We recently held a wedding at this venue and opted for their wedding package, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory due to several unreasonable charges and miscommunications: We were charged RM60 per towel for "dirty towels," even though we had already informed the staff that the towels were not clean upon being provided to us. The package was supposed to cover three days, but we were asked to vacate the venue on the second day. Staff claimed we left the place in a mess, but we were clearly told that post-event cleanup was included in the package. Despite everything, the staff refused to return our deposit without a valid explanation.

We are planning to escalate this issue to KPDNKK (Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs) for further action.

Overall, the experience did not end well, and I would advise others to reconsider booking CBH for weddings unless you have a clear, written agreement signed by both parties outlining all terms and...

On arriving at Che Beach House, I was so tempted to forget about going anywhere else. It is built right next to the sea with its own private bit of beach which you can watch from the hammock on the deck, the large balcony upstairs (which is decked with very comfortable, large chairs) or from the sand itself. The sound of the sea was ever-present. The rooms are very clean and bright with a good amount of space. Chris is very helpful, and is always asking if he can offer you some assistance. They don’t do this in a lot of Malaysian accommodation, so I really appreciated this aspect of Chris’ hospitality.

Despite being roughly 10km outside town, I would highly recommend Che Beach House as a relaxing, quiet spot, which still has some small restaurants around it so you will...
