Millbrook House Terengganu — Hotel in Terengganu

Was looking for a place to stay near Marang and stumbled upon this property on TA. No regrets. It's ideal for children, as there's a private beach to play on, and the owners are friendly - there's a fish farm, indoor pool, and clean rustic environment to relax in. The room is spacious, and is equipped with a small kitchen if you intend on enjoying some of the local cuisine in the room bought from the surrounding area. It's privately owned so expect some local touches to the premise ie. linen, towels, amenities - are not commercial grade. You would need a car for transport within the area as there's not much food surrounding and its 30mins to Kuala Terengganu. Tasty corn on the road side though.||||I'm not sure if this would be the ideal location to stay in for a tourist heading to Terengganu but if my business is to be within the Kuala Terengganu - Marang vicinity and I have car to use, I'd stay here. There's not much touristic spots...

What would you do if you wanted to get away from it all ? You would come here..... Millbrook Farm in Kuala Dungun, Terengganu.... Each room comes with its own toilet/shower, 2 comfortable Queen size beds, TV, air con, fan, coffee and tea.... The kitchen is a shared kitchen with everything you need. Washing machine is next to the swimming pool. What a super way to relax in the evening by the pool. The atmosphere is like you never believed, the ambience from a traditional British background. The sea is a bit rough (not advisable to swim) but what a sight. My kids did lots of fishing and CAUGHT fish too ! Mini market is to your right of Millbrook Farm, Shell Station to your left. So both sides you can get your mineral water, and small titbites for late night snacks. The beauty of Terengganu together with a British touch and a wonderful family looking after it (and us)..... I recommend this to all worldly travellers. You don’t want...

Every now and again in life you meet exceptional people and Ivan and his lovely family are an example of that. ||||On top of the amazing hospitality where absolutely nothing is too much trouble, the actual accommodation was amazing value. They are far more interested in giving their guests an amazing authentic experience than making money. The room was huge, immaculately clean with a flat screen tv ( the lovely Ella even organised access to a subscribtion sports channel so we could watch the F1 and refused to take payment.) ||The grounds are lovely, the beach private and empty plus there is a small extremely clean pool.||||Ivan gave us a tour of the fish farm and we spent a wonderful morning with his vintage motorbikes and visit to a local Kampung that took me back to my childhood. ||||A huge thank you to Ivan, his charming wife and the wonderful Ella, for making our short stay with them the best part of my trip back...
