OYO 89607 Aloha Chalet — Hotel in Terengganu

Having an adhoc meeting in Besut, fortunately Oyo suggest me this place and for me it was definitely a good and affordable place to stay, rest and sleep.

🏢 Facility : They've got spacious room with air conditioning, a functional TV, electric kettle and water heater. They also have dining space outside and you can buy beverage from their reception.

📶🌐 Network coverage : as I'm using a postpaid plan, i didn't have any problem like my partner do (EDGE and sometimes no line at all). However Aloha Chalet provide WiFi and you can ask the receptionist.

🧕🏻Service :The check-in and check-out was easy and convenient. The receptionist was so kind and polite although we we're kinda late to check in

🛣️Nearby places & activities : This chalet is just 300m from MRSM Kota Putra and 2km away from Pantai Kuala Besut/Kaki Bukit Keluang.

Will never stay again! There was no one manning the reception, only a hp no. was left at the counter for guest to call. When called, was told to just enter the room as the key was sticking to the lock. It is actually a motel, not hotel. No grills on the window, do not feel safe... Duvet cover was not change since don't know when, it has yellow stains and smells real bad like someone has used it for some time. Suspected the bedsheet and pillow covers were not change either. Water heater was very noisy once switched on. Lifted up the toilet seat cover, saw dried feaces sticking there. No toilet paper nor tissue provided. A kettle, cups and saucers were available but no beverage sachets provided. Many term it clean as it is quite new, the floor was clean but...

This is a small hotel with only 9 rooms. The room is basic, cleanliness is acceptable and can be improved. Aircond is cold. The service is exceptional, especially Raudah who runs this place. She was onsite most of the time, welcomed us at night during check in, and offered the space to park our vehicle while we went away for a few nights. She graciously responded to my last minute call for assistance for a ride from the jetty back the hotel. As it was first day of Raya, there were no taxis available. Very nice and kind lady, made our stay memorable. Will recommend and return here again.
