OYO 90908 Noor Arfa River Chalet — Hotel in Terengganu

We booked two units, a single room chalet and a two bedroom single storey house. The chalet is fine but DO NOT step near the house! inside there were 2 bees waiting to sting anyone tresspassing. We managed to kill them. Phew... Next we had a hard time trying to open the bedroom door because it's a bit stuck. By the way, the house is not that clean.||||When we came back at night after a tiring day.... we found that there's no hot water so we showered with cold water. By the way, there's crocroaches in the bathroom. My wife screamed when they came out to shower together with her.||||Then when we finally ready to sleep, we found the bed is broken! So we had to take the mattress out to the hall to sleep. In the other room, there's no aircon... (we find this so funny). there's a small ventilation fan connecting the two rooms. So if you need some cool air in the second room, you need to turn on the air con in the first room and the ventilation fan will suck the cool air from the first room into the second room!!! OMG!!! ||||Ok when we thought everything's settle and my staff ready to sleep in the second room, he saw a spider (yes, the ones with 8 hairy legs) the size of a grown up man's hand, sticking on the wall on top of the bed. After a while, he finally managed to kill it too .... ||||Oh, if you think you can just call house keeping to settle all those problems for you.... well think again! There's no one at night for you to call. ||||So if you still want to stay...

The view and room quite nice.|But The services are bad.|We are come for late check in and fully paid via agoda. When we were arrived they ask for IC, just a normal procedure for check in. chalet/car park and check in counter are a bit far in between, have to walk if your go for park your car at 1st. They ask for deposit of guarantee even we are already pay in full amount through call and not at the check in counter. We are upset because they lock the door for the next day when we are come back from our outdoor activities around 10-11pm which is we were too tired for all day activities and needs our room quickly. We have to wait a bit longer at the counter because its close and then we have to wait again and let them settle about the door locked and they say it was automatic locked which is not a reasonable reason for us. |For us if your need a deposit of guarantee you have to mention it in agoda before we pay in full.||our vacation was spoiled with this matter, and we will not come again for stay...

Nor Arfa is known for their high quality batik design fabrics. Chalets and restaurant added the value for local and tourist who visited their showroom and batik factory. An overnight stay at this chalet by the river which partly covered with magroves is a nice experienced. A basic 8'X10' room with queen size bed comes with HD TV, split unit, small bathroom with hot shower. Clean. At night it was packed with diners. Food were mostly Thai cusine as well as local. Food were tasty and the price is reasonable. Nice place to bring family along for dinner. Parking are available. ...
