This was by far the most infuriating, disgraceful experience I’ve ever had with any hotel, and I travel often. Resorts World Kijal is a complete scam operation hiding behind rigid policies and robotic customer service.||||I accidentally booked the wrong date (Booking ID: 1922513654, August 19 to 20, 2025). The moment I realized it, I immediately rebooked the correct date, which was August 2, 2025. I even paid for the stay again. So they got two full payments, and I stayed only once.||||And yet, they flat-out refused to refund, amend, or offer any credit for the original date. Their response? A cold, soulless, copy-paste reply: “Non-refundable, non-changeable.” That’s it. No logic. No empathy. No basic human decency.||||Let me be clear. I wasn’t asking for a special favor. I rebooked with them. I still gave them my business. But they chose greed over integrity.||||Their so-called customer service is a joke. Emotionless, scripted, and zero effort to understand or help. It was like dealing with a wall. They could have easily shown some flexibility, but instead, they chose to pocket my money and shrug it off.||||To make things worse, during my actual stay, they even had the audacity to charge me RM20 just for an extra blanket. As if double-charging me for the room wasn’t enough, they still tried to squeeze every last ringgit out of me.||||This is not hospitality. This is predatory behavior. Resorts World Kijal will take your money, hide behind fine print, and abandon you the moment anything goes wrong.||||If you make even a simple, honest mistake, they will exploit it. No refund. No adjustment. No support. Just cold policy and absolute indifference.||||Shame on this resort for their dishonesty and inhuman treatment of paying guests. I will never return, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid this place completely. Spend your money where guests are treated with fairness and respect, because Resorts World Kijal treats you like a walking ATM.||||Update: They charged me RM20 for an extra blanket without informing me upfront and when I raised the issue with AGODA afterwards they denied the charge and claimed there was no record despite it being written on a manual invoice by a lady in tudung during my stay. Unfortunately i threw away the invoice. This kind of dishonesty is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of integrity! Resort world kijal is...

Read moreStay here for twice in 2 months for work trip. -Resort world KIJAL is the only hotel in that area and you must need a car to go out for food / sightseeing . -There’s a Petronas station & a small Chinese seafood restaurant outside the hotel . -the hotel is old as it’s opened in 1999. The building itself needs a lot of maintenance and of course it’s not easy to take care of a building using a lot of woods .
ROOM -the room has a strong mouldy smell. Bed sheet is clean . They provide refillable plastic bottles at room, each floor with a drinking water supply machine near the lift . the toilet 🚽 has flushing problem , u need to hold the handle down until your business is fully gone . Have to double check . -the shower has strong water pressure but they only provide 1 type of shampoo for head and body 🚿 -beds are hard coz it’s old. The bedsheet always got old stain
FOOD -the breakfast is ok , everyday they provide nasi Lemak ( always got chicken - Ayam berempah , kampung fish in curry etc) , basic western food ( steam ham / sausage, tomato ) , egg station , 2 types of breads and some sweet buns & Malay kuih . there’s a cafe at lobby that people will always hang out. Did not try that so I can’t comment on that .
FACILITIES -they have big pool suitable for family and kids -lots of OUTDOOR parkings but I choose Valet parking as its right at lobby and under roof so I...
