Stayed here often for work. I don't have high expectations for any budget hotel. The rooms were comfortable enough. Water pressure do sometimes drop, but otherwise the hot water works well enough. Most of the time it's fine though. It's usually during peak hours. Oh, when it rains the ceiling at the reception area would leak. Almost slipped once. Thankfully none of the rooms I've been in had that issue. The building is still under renovation apparently. Parking is limited but never had trouble even when it's full.
Wifi speed was good enough to play games with. The guest reception was also good. I forgot to have cash on me for the RM50 deposit. They accepted card payment and asked for my bank account number for the return. The deposit return took weeks however. I forgot about it and received a notification from my banking app. So it still is best to pay the deposit with cash.
Next to the hotel is a "mamak" restaurant. Nothing special, but I like their kaya toast. The bread is thick and fluffy. For a cheap breakfast it's okay. On the other side is a cafe which apparently makes good coffee. Never tried, nor have I dined at the hotel's restaurant at the back. If parking space is full the run-off space near the cafe is where I would park, or the mamak restaurant...
