One week is the perfect time for a stay on this small island. We had a great, relaxing time. We got upgraded to an over water jacuzzi villa, perfect size, sun on the terrace until around 3pm, nice big bathroom and main room. Life vests are provided and you can rent snorkeling gear for free. Room cleaning and fresh drinking water 2x a day (you can always order more free of charge). We had half board which is perfect in my opinion. The food (buffet) was always really good and diversified with a different theme each day. Desserts are extremly sweet, they could use a little less sugar sometimes. The island is perfect if you like swimming or chilling in the water. There is a huge area of shallow water all around the island. You can also go snorkeling but if you want to do it everyday there are islands with better house reefs (Dusit Thani). You also have your personal resident host which you can contact at any time for whatever wish you have. In our package we had a one hour sandbank visit included. We didn't expect much but it was a super nice experience. From our terrace we saw manta rays, sharks, fish and, in the distance, even dolphins! One evening the whole beach was glowing from glowing plankton which was also a very special experience. Overall a great stay! Things that need some improvement: - wifi is reliable but very slow (a maximum speed of 2-3 mbit) - gym equipment is very basic, they should add at least a pull up bar - you can't connect your own devices to the tv in your villa (just get some chromecasts) Special thanks to Nattu, Dia and Su Su for making our stay extra good!

Absolutely everything about Fushifaru is perfection!||Of course, the island itself is naturally beautiful – soft white sand, crystal clear waters … all of the islands have that to start with… but this resort has been so tastefully designed to blend in with the island’s natural beauty. All the villas and communal buildings nestle so naturally in their environment; all with tasteful, stylish décor.||The food is a culinary delight. We’re not usually fans of a buffet but, it was so good, we’d been on the island a week before venturing to the al a carte restaurant; where, of course, the menu turned out to be equally delicious! ||The Heylhi Spa is a tranquil sanctuary in the middle of the island and the treatments we had were incredible. I prefer a strong/firm massage and can confirm that the lovely Veri, Novi and Sulis all did a marvellous job! ||All the staff, without exception, were friendly and attentive, so it seems unfair to name some but, inevitably, you end up engaging with some more than others, so they have to have a special mention.||Our first meal in Korakali was lunch where we were served by Shazmyn. He then looked after us for every meal there and was so kind and attentive and, despite me not being a very good student, he persevered in helping me to learn a few words of Divehi. “Shukuriyya, Shazmyn!”||The lovely Jalal (usually on the Live cooking station) always greats you with the most wonderful beaming smile and he makes an excellent Eggs Benedict too! On our last day, Jalal wasn’t on the egg station but Shayan stepped in, delivering two eggs benedict without us needing to ask – a really thoughtful touch. ||Although she didn’t actually serve us, you can’t fail to notice the small but mighty Megie – she’s always there with a cheeky smile and friendly conversation. ||In Raakani and Fanihandi Bar we were looked after by the lovely Citra, Ega, Laxshmi and Tete, who all made us feel very special, as they made the time to chat with us. ||I must also mention Shreepal who chatted with me at Thundi bar then did a fabulous job entertaining us with the Flair Bartending and “smoking” cocktails! ||The Maldivian Cultural evening was an absolute joy and what made it so special was the staff from so many different departments joining in. The lovely ladies from the spa and restaurants, singing and dancing for us. The fabulous Azeem from reception and the charming Ibbe (the island’s resident artist who does such wonderful work with the décor) who got me up to dance - and the incredible drumming and singing from a chap I recognised from the Dive Club! … everyone was taking part. A brilliant evening all round.||The entertainment was top notch and that's thanks to Sarah and Jun, their melodious voices and Jun’s excellent guitar were always so wonderful to hear. Plus, they rather indulged me at the karaoke… so thank you both for that! ||Our beautiful beach pool villa was attended to by the lovely Nandar who, as well as doing an excellent job keeping it clean and tidy, left us delightful sand art on the deck… a wonderful touch!||If you appreciate wildlife, there are some stunningly colourful lizards and exquisitely beautiful birds on the island. I fell in love with Luffy (a Rainbow Lorikeet) and was lucky enough to be invited to meet some of his friends, Blu, Rio, Daisy and Moon! They are lovingly cared for by Jum who kindly took so much time to introduce me to them and tell me about their daily routines… they even have their own Instagram account! ||Talking of Insta, if that’s your “thing” you must take a trip to the Sandbar – the perfect spot for some incredible photos! #NoFilterRequired||Finally, last but by no means least, the beautiful Jen, our Island Host. Jen is the perfect host. As well as being very well informed and making sure you have absolutely everything you could possibly need – she goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. Even though we’ve been home a few days now, I’ve exchanged several messages with her. A truly special lady.||This has been the most magical holiday, made special in no small part by ALL the wonderful staff.||Thank you Fushifaru… can’t wait to...

I will start off by saying that I travel a lot but seldom feel compelled to write an all out positive review. Fushifaru is one of those rare gems that truly deserves one in my opinion! |We spent Christmas in Fushifaru as a family of 4 (two adults two teenagers), this was our first trip to the Maldives. |Upon arrival by seaplane we were greeted by traditional drums and immediately introduced to our lovely and kind personal liason/assistant Dia. She was there for us at all times anytime to assist with questions/planning/reservations and even sunburn care... Dia made our stay extremely relaxing and was an absolute pleasure.|The island is small and pristine, far away from crowds and all bungalows are right on the beach. We stayed in a family Duplex bungalow. The Bungalow was in perfect condition, tastefully furnished with a spectacular outdoor bathroom and a lovely sitting area towards the beach. The room service was impeccable, we always came back to a tidy room with a lovely little art surprise left by our room steward. |If we were at all concerned that we would miss out on Christmas feelings we were really proven wrong! The whole island was beautifully decorated and very festive in a tasteful manner. The Christmas Gala dinner was above and beyond!|We mainly ate at the buffet, which was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Nazir pre anticipated all our wishes and orders and Nuniri provided us with the most delicious tropical fruit, always freshly sliced. We very much enjoyed the fresh local fish and the daily variety of delicious authentic Indian food among so many options. Between two picky adults and two even pickier teens everyone was happy and delighted with the food!|We enjoyed evenings at the bar, playing Billiards and enjoying live music. The bar team is so fun and made this area really enjoyable and welcoming to hang out at.|A real highlight for me was the snorkeling and diving! The house reef is beautiful and you can snorkel right from the beach and see a real underwater paradise,|I also took diving lessions at the on site Padi center with Jonas and had some amazing dives with sharks, turtles and lots of beautiful fish.|I really loved that after only a few days we didnt just feel like guests but like family. From the manager to the head chef, the staff at the food locations, our assistant, room service and the Spa Staff, we soon knew everyone by name and they knew ours. Everyone was so genuinely warm, welcoming and kind. |To sum things up, we had the perfect vacation in paradise and we will certainly be...

I am writing to share my deepest appreciation for the unforgettable stay I experienced with the Fushifaru family. From the very beginning, everything felt special, the thoughtful pre-arrival arrangements, the warm welcome at the airport, and the seamless assistance from Mr. Waleed, who made our arrival feel effortless and genuinely welcoming. It was never just about service; it was about the warmth and care that immediately touched me.||Among all these wonderful experiences, what truly stood out and made my time extraordinary was our butler, Chelsea. From the very first moment, Chelsea welcomed us not only with a smile but with a warmth that instantly put us in holiday mode. Throughout the stay, he was so much more than supportive, he was thoughtful, attentive, and consistently kind in ways that made us feel seen and valued. Chelsea has that rare gift of anticipating needs without being asked, showing empathy in every interaction, and bringing sincerity to everything he does. His sweetness, genuine care, and the way he connected with us made us feel not only like guests, but like family. Words cannot fully capture how deeply his presence touched our hearts.||My thanks also go to the entire team, who each contributed to making this stay unforgettable. The F&B outlets created experiences that reminded me of what true hospitality feels like where every detail is crafted with care. In particular, I would like to recognize Iqbal from the F&B team, whose genuine attentiveness and thoughtful care truly stood out. He went beyond service to make us feel valued, and his kindness left a lasting impression. The housekeeping team also constantly went above and beyond with their thoughtful touches and impeccable standards. Together, they created a seamless, memorable experience but it was Chelsea’s presence that tied everything together, making every memory brighter and exceeding guests’ expectations. ||The true beauty of Fushifaru lies not only in its breathtaking ocean, exceptional hospitality, and commitment to excellence, but above all in the warmth and dedication of its people. |They embody that beauty in the most genuine way. I leave carrying not just wonderful memories of this place, but the kindness of its people engraved in my heart.||Please do share this note with the entire team who truly deserve to know how profoundly they enriched our experience. I wish you and the whole Fushifaru family good health, happiness, and continued success.||With...
