If there’s 6 stars I would’ve given 6!!!!!!! Big thank you to the Ataraxis team; Farigh, Manik, Ruviy and Naahu especially, for taking such good care of us! From our first day till the tenth day, we felt like we were taken care of like their family.

To Naahu, Ruviy, (and a 17 year old cute boy that I did not get his name 🤣) thank you for helping us with every little request that we have from water to rental of bikes to beach towels! You guys are the most friendly and amazing hotel ground staff that I’ve seen!! ❤️

To the hotel cleaning staff, thank you and sorry for always making a mess of the room with the sand 😭❤️ Because of our beach photoshoot we had so much sand in the bathroom / around the room but every time we went back to the room, it’s sparkling clean and neat. Kudos to you thank you so much!

To Manik, thank you for taking care of us like our father! From the mango, to the cut chilli and chilli paste every meal, to my requests for fried egg on some days, to the amazing sandwiches you prepare for us before the dives, to teaching us how to ride a scooter and many more. You really made my stay really homely and fantastic! ❤️

To the chefs, thank you for always whipping up amazing food for our breakfast, lunch and dinner, and at such amazing speed! I’ll definitely miss your tandoori chicken and curry 🥲❤️

Lastly to Farigh, the friendliest and most helpful hotel owner I’ve ever met. Thank you for sharing your stories, helping us arrange for surf lessons, checking out massage places, saving us when we ran out of fuel in the middle of the road, and offering many help to make our stay a much better version than it is. ❤️🙏🏻

Ataraxis is a home away from home. As a single woman travelling solo, I never felt safer. The rooms are so comfortable after a long day of diving - super comfy beds, beautiful granite bathrooms with a lovely rain shower, loads of closet space, and a thoughtfully designed drying rack on the balcony to dry all your wet gear.

The team - Farigh, Manick, Naahu, Yooh, Ubaid, and everyone else, treated me like family. When I was sick they never left my side and looked after me better than anyone ever has. The food is homely, you’re always greeted with a smile, and they will happily accommodate any request they can - from making you your comfort food, to organising cup noodles for you, to arranging a scooter for you to rent. The team goes above and beyond for every guest and staying here sometimes feels more like home than home does.

The terrace is beautiful for a nighttime stargaze; so peaceful to relax on. It’s also a stones throw from the beach of spectacular sunsets. This island and it’s people are magic and should be protected at all costs, and the Ataraxis team makes sure every diver has a cool, cosy, comfortable place to come home to after a beautiful day in the ocean. There’s nowhere else I’d ever stay and I’d give Ataraxis my highest recommendation.

Don’t think twice, just book your stay here asap! A beautiful place at a gorgeous location with amazing rooms! This is such a great place especially for solo travellers and families! I can’t recommend Ataraxis enough! The staff, the hotel, the service, the rooms, the food, every single minute detail is spot on at this place! The most professional and the best hospitality I’ve ever received in all my trips! I would like to personally thank Farigh and Naahil for ensuring that I felt safe throughout. And of course, manick and his team ensured we were fed so well throughout. I’m a vegetarian but they literally made every single dish we requested for and everything was so yummy! I’m from india and they even made such delicious Indian delicacies for all of us daily! Every single staff at this hotel is an absolute gem and I would go here again in a heartbeat!
