This was an absolute dream holiday from start to finish. We took a risk booking as the resort was newly opened (so no reviews to go on) but I am so pleased that we did. Even before arriving, communication from the resort was fantastic and the team so friendly. Lijo (resort owner) met us on arrival at the domestic airport and took such good care of us from then on; helping to arrange excursions (snorkelling is a must!), ensuring that we had everything we needed, and educating us on local customs and Maldivian ways of living. We are real foodies and couldn't have been happier in this respect; everyday fresh local produce, cooked beautifully by Chef Amit and served with a smile & professionalism by Lia and JiJo. The menu options, quantity & quality of food is fantastic and will make you feel amazing (super healthy & fulfilling)!||||We booked this holiday having been enticed by the idea of an eco-friendly, sustainable wellness holiday, and we were not disappointed. The resort is on an unspoiled inhabited island which really does give you a feel for island life; this isn’t a manufactured hotel-island, there is wildlife and nature a plenty, with local life evident all around. The resort is very environmentally friendly with great care taken to ensure harmony with the surroundings; a true oasis of peace and tranquillity. Daily yoga and meditation led by Naro was glorious; there is nothing quite like yoga on a long white sandy beach as the sun sets, absolutely glorious and so satisfying for the soul.||||The ‘cherry on top’ for me; the Ayush Ayurvedic Spa. I have had many spa treatments in my time, but nothing that compares to the incredible Ayurvedic treatments offered by Justin & Eka; such an incredible experience, true medicine for both mind and body, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you do find yourself in this resort, you absolutely have to try the kizi-abhyanga treatment; it was by far the most incredible massage of my life!||||A huge thank you to everyone at Evexia Beach Collection Laamu for making this a once-in-a-lifetime holiday! We wish you every success!...

Read moreThis was a real treat. Everyone was so welcoming and the staff could not do enough for us. I had wondered if I would take advantage of the free yoga being 74 I thought I might not be able to do it. But after the first night we had the 16 room place all to ourselves and I had half an hour 1-1 sunrise yoga first thing - followed by a leisurely dip i the pool then sat down in the lounge area where my daily routine was to have a drink of fresh coconut juice while I caught up on my mail. Then I had half an hour + ayuverdic treatment - which I paid for - got a good deal for 5 sessions and it was brilliant. The place is so beautiful and peaceful and the heat envelops and relaxes you. It is a really comfortable place to be and the staff are exceptionally helpful. We had Breakfast and evening meal and it was more than sufficient. The management are dedicated to provide an affordable wellness centre. Menu choices were wide and there were no hidden costs. Only extras I paid for were treatment and a snorkelling trip. No alcohol but really didn't matter. My friend and I availed ourselves of the inclusive meditation/relaxation session and of the sunset yoga. Yoga was on the beach which was breathtakingly beautiful. We didn't want to come home! It felt like living a dream. The staff truly spoilt us and we enjoyed their company. If you want a nurturing holiday this fits the bill perfectly. Thank you to our lovely...
