Reveries Diving Village is the best hotel that I have ever stayed so far in Maldives. We spent 6 days at Reveries and felt totally rejuvenated. My room overlooked the crystal clear lagoon and during mid afternoon when the sun shone in its full force it looked so exquisite. Just looking at the sea from the balcony was enough to relieve all my tension and I felt totally relaxed. The room was simple yet elegant and it felt so much like home. Although I had visited the residence, during a renovation period, and some facilities were discontinued, it hardly made any difference as the staff were so accommodating and caring towards us. WE (my daughter and myself) felt that we were amongst family and not so far away from home. The reception was always available whenever we needed anything and we had the best guide anyone could ask for. In addition to this, it was so refreshing to have our room spotlessly clean when we came back after our daily activities on the island and tour to nearby islands. Also, we loved the breakfast prepared by the chef and the personal touch of the staff in serving us. All in all, Reveries Diving Village, is one destination that I would definitely come back to,...
Read moreWe, along with other guests, were among the first guests of the hotel after the lockdown. A small cozy diving village is not a new building and in very good, well-maintained condition. located at the end of the island, in a secluded quiet place. The territory is clean, quite large relative to the scale of the Maldives and conveniently organized.||There is a fenced bikini beach in front of the hotel, there are sun beds, the hotel provides beach towels. ||The hotel has its own base for all kinds of water activities: you can get training and get a license for diving, surfing, being taken to a beautiful reef for snorkeling, which is really impressive, fishing, walking with dolphins when the boat is really surrounded by diving dolphins, and not looking at them from afar, trips to other islands and who knows what else, do not hesitate to ask the manager). ||The hotel itself with rooms in the colonial style, fits very well into the atmosphere of the local island. The photos in the account correspond to reality. The hotel staff creates a feeling of homely atmosphere, no intrusiveness, but any help. Everything that may depend on your vacation from the hotel, you...
Read moreMy wife and I spent three wonderful nights at Reveries. We loved everything about our stay. They arranged our travel from Male', picked us up, and immediately created a welcoming atmosphere on our arrival with fresh coconut water. We swam and snorkeled off their beautifully maintained beach, we went on a snorkeling expedition on their boat (assisted by their friendly and knowledgeable dive staff), we rode bicycles. A highlight for us was the tour of the history and natural features of the island chain. Our guide was informative and friendly, showing us a 300+ year old Mosque, the ruins of a Buddhist site, an unusual red freshwater lake, and much more. The food and the hospitality were first rate. Every meal was a buffet with plenty of variety. Without us asking, the staff twice set up a special outdoor dinner, including one on the beach itself, with a table decorated with the petals of fresh-cut flowers. Wow! And, the price of the whole thing, including airfare, was incredibly reasonable. For a fraction of the price of fancy resort, we got to enjoy the best of the Maldives in a much more intimate setting. We would go back in...
