We have booked an 8-day stay last minute and stayed in October 2025. The main criteria were ideally to avoid a plane transfer and have an all-inclusive package.||Highlights of our stay:|1. The waterfront pool villa was spacious and amazing. We were also very lucky with the view from the villa. An impeccable service. |2. Food and beverage service was great in all restaurants of the island. A huge variety of meals, cocktails, fits every taste. Dinners at Bo were exceptional! |3. All facilities are very good. A special thanks to the fitness center Team. I did several yoga and meditation sessions with Ansuman and I really enjoyed them. Ansuman is very knowledgeable and provided very useful advice. It was a pleasure to join these sessions.|4. We joined an excursion with a Dive center for sharks watching. We saw plenty of nurse sharks as promised.|5. A credit of 20 USD per day and per adult was provided by the hotel to use for food, beverages outside of all-inclusive package, as well as for experiences. |6. Despite the resort being new, the island is very green and looks like a paradise garden. There are still some construction works ongoing, but there was no nuisance at all. ||Low points:|1. It’s not very visible in the resort promotional photos, but mostly southwestern part of the island would be facing a heavily industrialized area of Malé, including fuel storage tanks, cargo ships etc. Also there are several cargo ships permanently visible at a distance in front of the main island pool/beach from the western side. For those who would like to have an unobstructed view, it might be a big disappointment. The best views would be from overwater villas on the very northern side and front water villas facing northern side as well. As stated previously, we were very lucky in terms of location of our villa.|2. Not all the resorts mention the prices inclusive of taxes, however some do. Here it is not the case, all prices listed are not inclusive of taxes. As a client I would appreciate more transparency and have 28.5 % overall tax charged by the resort included in the price list. |3. As someone who attended some of the most prestigious and exclusive spas around the world, we found the prices in Namm spa to be exorbitant, already before the taxes, therefore chose not to go. |4. We were surprised in terms of prices for the water activities at a Dive center, that for a child below 12 the price is the same as for an adult, contrary to multiple other resort chains we were staying at. |5. During our stay there were several windy/rainy days and several sunny days. During the sunny days we noticed lots of flies, especially in the southern-southwestern part of the island while eating in Midi and also less but at Baraveli restaurant. In addition to that, while swimming at the main beach in front of Midi, during sunny days we felt a waste smell coming from southern side, more towards a second part of the day. Seems like Malé main waste center Thilafushi located in that direction might be responsible for these, when the air currents are coming in the direction of the resort. |Overall, the hotel is great for the price, however low points might need to...

From the moment we landed, everything was seamless — the staff greeted us with genuine warmth, cool towels, and refreshing welcome drink. The family beach villa with pool was spacious, beautifully designed, and just steps away from the crystal-clear waters. We chose DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives for our honeymoon, and it could not have been a more perfect choice. The resort is the only one with its own signature private boat transfer, taking just 7–8 minutes to reach the island an exclusive and seamless start that set the tone for our unforgettable stay.

From the very first moment, we were welcomed with warmth and smiles, and Coco, the best representative we could have asked for, never stopped being present and attentive until the very last day of our stay.

The resort is a completely new structure, and it was an absolute surprise to see how seamlessly everything already works from the level of organization to the professionalism and training of the staff.

The property itself is spotless and perfectly organized to cover every possible need. But the biggest surprise of all? The food. Thanks to Executive Chef Mohamed Adil, it is clear that the standard of each restaurant is set at a true Michelin-star level. Every dish was exceptional, and we could not have been more pleased to enjoy such high-quality creations across all outlets. From Soi, offering authentic and refined Thai cuisine, to Bo, with its creative Asian fusion dishes, every meal was a delight. The breakfast buffet was a highlight in itself fresh, varied, and abundant every single day. The staff not only served with kindness but also remembered our names from day one, which made every encounter feel so personal and welcoming.

The Cocon Bar was another gem, with outstanding cocktails and a tapas-style menu that impressed us not only with flavors but also with the presentation colorful, innovative, and simply delicious. Both lunch and dinner menus were a surprise every time.

For a more relaxed atmosphere, Midi was perfect. Enjoying live music on the beach with the pool in the background while tasting incredible pizzas and Mediterranean dishes with a Middle Eastern twist was pure joy. And the best part all of this was included in our package.

Our floating villa was simply incredible. Spanning 360 m², it featured two master bedrooms and two smaller bedrooms designed perfectly for toddlers or children, each with its own private bathroom. The private pool was spacious and refreshing, and direct access to the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean was breathtaking. The sea breeze complemented the Maldivian sun perfectly (just a reminder: sunscreen is a must 30 minutes are enough to get that golden tan!).

Special thanks go to Firushaan at Midi, Kadriya and Pavel who organized an unforgettable shark tour for us, the incredibly attentive villa cleaners, and of course Coco, who truly made our honeymoon stay exceptional. Whether it was restocking the minibar, organizing activities, or ensuring the villa was spotless, the team went above and beyond to make us feel cared for every moment of the day.

In short, DusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives is paradise perfected flawless hospitality, Michelin-level dining, stunning villas, and a team that truly knows how to make every guest feel special. We cannot...

The hotel is beautiful, new, and very clean, but there are some things that affected the overall experience. 1. Slow service: We often had to wait a long time during breakfast for plates to be cleared. For example, a table next to us was empty for about 25 minutes before anyone noticed and cleared it. When we ordered an omelet, we waited around 20 minutes, the same with drinks. Also, as soon as our plates were cleared, new cutlery was not automatically provided, and we had to ask for it. This experience repeated multiple times during our stay. 2. Excursion communication: We booked a dolphin trip, but due to bad weather, we expected someone to contact us if it was canceled. No one reached out, and about 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting, we had to message the staff on WhatsApp to ask if the trip was happening. They confirmed it was canceled, but I would have expected a proactive staff member to inform us. 3. Buggy service: Buggy rides can only be booked in the app on the hour or half-hour. Sometimes the buggy arrived 10 minutes earlier than we were ready, or later. When we asked the staff to wait, they kindly did, but the timing could be more precise. 4. Villa and sea view: We booked a water villa. You could see Male city from the villa, which is understandable since the city is so close, but I expected the villas to be oriented in a way that minimizes the city view. The sea was beautiful and clear, as expected in the Maldives, but there was very little marine life around the water villas. This is understandable given the high number of boats passing nearby. Food: Food and drinks were generally excellent, and we had some of the best pizza we’ve ever eaten. Breakfast was very good, with delicious pancakes, though service was slow. For a longer stay, the food selection would likely become repetitive. As a European guest, I found the options limited, and by the third day, I wasn’t sure what to eat for dinner and ended up having the same types of dishes repeatedly. Dinner was good, but I missed a larger selection of Italian and international dishes. Pizza is not served at dinner, nor are options like club sandwiches or burgers. À la carte restaurant reservations are required, though a buffet is available with a limited selection. Staff: The staff was always friendly and tried to help. They were very nice, but in the restaurants, it felt like they were not fully trained for a hotel of this level, which contributed to the slow service and some confusion with orders. Outside of the restaurants, the staff were generally fine and helpful. Overall, I would rate the stay as positive. The villas, food, drinks, and staff were all good, but the long waiting times for food and drinks, the limited food options, and the restaurant service affected the experience. For a hotel of this standard and price, this level of service should not happen. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a relaxing stay in the beautiful turquoise waters!

*Updated Review This trip to DusitD2 Maldives was truly a dream come true. I’ve always loved the ocean, and here I was able to immerse myself in it every single day. Each morning, I would sit by our villa’s canopy and watch the fish swimming just beneath us — it felt magical to have nature so alive and so close. Another favorite spot was Cocoon, where I could spend hours gazing at the marine life in the clear, calm waters. One of the highlights was scuba diving with my husband and our dive master, Kyrill, who made the experience safe, exciting, and unforgettable. Nothing short of amazing! I did the Discovery scuba Dive, and although I was a little nervous at first, Kyrill made me feel completely safe and at ease throughout the entire dive. I felt reassured, comforted, and able to fully enjoy the breathtaking underwater views. An unforgettable experience you’ll never regret! If you plan to take your open water, make sure you plan ample time and be ready for the astonishing views. At the dive centre, Kadriia and Pav were always such a joy to meet — they patiently walked us through the different activities, helped us with bookings, and always had a smile to share. Thanks to them, we discovered new adventures every day, and they made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. Snorkeling quickly became my favorite daily ritual. Each time I set out from Midi, the beach club, I was blown away by the crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life beneath the surface. Kayaking was another daily joy — a peaceful way to take in the beauty of the island from the ocean. The resort itself was stunning, with great facilities that made relaxing just as enjoyable as the activities. What stood out most, though, was how every single staff member was so nice and friendly. Ishak greeted us each day with the warmest smile, making every meal feel like a celebration. Cindy checked in often, ensuring we felt cared for and comfortable. Special thanks as well to Sakshar, Shuarez, Akash and Raaif who made our dining experiences delightful. And I must mention Raman’s dosa at breakfast — absolutely mind-blowing! Their kindness and attention made our stay all the more special. This holiday was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. From snorkeling and kayaking to simply watching fish beneath the jetty and our villa, I felt completely connected to the ocean. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon, and I’m already dreaming of coming back.
