What would be better than spending a beach holidays on the blue waters in Maldives. We decided on our favorite chain of hotels, The Taj.. We chose the property Taj Coral Reef Resort, Maldives..
Ours was "All inclusive package" with three nights at Beach Villa and one night at Water villa. We were allocated the most beautiful room no. 203 which is a 'Delight Deluxe Beach Villa' which is from 201 to 215 (15 no.) and 'Charm villas' from 216 to 229 (14 no.) -Beach villas Nirvana Suits (Room 260 n 250) - Beach facing Indulgence Water villas (101 to 133) Sea facing /Lagoon facing Delight Deluxe are higher category than charm villas in beach category rooms .. Which are very spacious.. You can put extra bed, couch and a baby cot as well.. There are different sections, with two closet, shower area with two shower head, toilet and an outdoor shower area. There is a bag rack at entrance. The room has central AC, a fan, sony surround sound speakers connected to TV, has OTT channels to offer. Outdoor seating area facing the beach. Our room was one of the best amongst the beach villas near all the amenities and restaurant.
Mini Bar in our room is filled with Twix Chocolate bars, canned cold drinks, red and white wine bottle, potato chips, snacks, salted almonds, salted cashews, Pringles chips, beer cans, Coffee maker etc. which is refilled every day as per the 'all inclusive package'.
They have 3 restaurants- Bokkura (multi cuisine), Reef bar, Open the grill and pizzeria (South American and Mexican food) . The menu at all these restaurant are very well curated and out of the world in literal sense.. They offered Best of selection from global cuisine like Italy, Germany, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, China, England, India, Pakistan, spain, Srilanka, Maldives and so on and so forth.
Listing few of stuff we tried : Breakfast is also Al carte with juices and fruits, breads at buffet. They offer everyday special menu for Breakfast (with min 3 selection of Indian snacks)
The highlight of this property is their ever smiling, friendly and courteous I am sure each one has put their effort to make our stay exceptionally memorable. We would like thank from bottom of our heart with special mention of these lovely and helpful Staff:

Ravi, Security in charge who explained the daily rituals of feeding their marine pets I call them. Every day around 4.45 pm they have feeding activity. One Night (last night) we had booked ourselves at Water villa no. 111. We have travelled many places and have stayed at the best of hotels but have never ever experienced the royalty welcome we got at the Taj Coral Reef Resort & Spa Maldives. It was an overwhelming experience from the moment we began at the jetty itself, a short 45 mins private boat ride, while we disembarked followed by a traditional ceremony and a warm welcome drink and sanitizing face towel.
Taj Coral is an island hidden among dense foliage within the North Male Atoll inspiring the imagination with a collection of spacious beachfront and over-water villas. The place feels magical as we stayed at both the villas. Spectacularly from the crystal-clear turquoise water and watching Sting Rays at sunset, to the delicious cuisine available at the resort’s multiple dining venues were tremendously excellent!
Nature is nurtured at the resort and each signature experience brings you one step closer to discovering its untouched beauty. The sea will glow in the evening showing specks of bioluminescence when its created nearby by a light-producing marine creature at the Sandbank Excursion where water flows from both sides of the sandbank giving you best backdrop for evening pictures.
This was once in a life time experience that made us feel so special on our milestone wedding anniversary more than a celebrity which was pampering as they made us feel at home and hats off to their immense dedication to service and feelings that …Guests are family for them.
The food quality, ambience and upkeep with highly motivated staff, went out of the way service, their kindness, warm hospitality and attentiveness was awe-inspiring. Bar staff were outstanding, offered beautiful cocktail and music.
The Spa provided tailored massages to both my wife and me and we enjoyed it meticulously. The parlor is comfortable and full featured and ladies KC and Kim were warm, caring, patient, professional, talented and very knowledgeable. Amazed with their healing touch and anti-toxic drink after massages! The best massage ever enjoyed during our stay. Keep up the good work ladies with your magic hands!
