This place is Amazing! Service is for lack of a better word, exceptional⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We do travel a fair amount and we do go to a lot of hotels. Admittedly budget hotels(USD 100 to 150 a night) but all the hotels on this island are budget. This place is still being built and was basically the only reason we could afford to stay. I would like to add there was no construction noise or any inconvenience of any kind during our stay. It was the same price as other bed and breakfasts on the island but it’s the most beautiful by leaps and bounds. It’s second floor boasts a beautiful sea view, this is the best place to catch their epic sunsets if you don’t feel like going down to the beach. The rooms are to die for! The photos online don’t do it justice. The hotel as other travelers have mentioned is the closest to the beach, this doesn’t seem like a big deal but in heat like this, it’s an absolute blessing. We were the only guests so we got the sea facing room. Super spoilt🎁
However best part for me, is you can feel the love and pride the owner Zain has for his business, his attention to detail, the quality of service is that what you’d expect at a private island. It’s no wonder as he worked there. May think this is normal.
You can tell him what you want for dinner and if it’s not on the menu he will make a plan. TRY THE BUTTER CHICKEN it’s sooo good.
Zain organized all our trips, the highlight was snorkeling at the Embudu reef this is the best reef I have ever seen and we love islands, and we have seen many.
We even went to Emboodhoo twice and spent 2 mesmerizing hours in the water. The second time we went early and we saw tons of fish, intact coral, perfect untouched plate corals but of course our highlights were the 3 white reef tip sharks, an eagle ray and a turtle.
Zain also organized a private dinner on the beach which was so romantic. It had the most delicious food and Maldivian music, I told my fiancé I felt like a princess.
I would not give Himandhoo a miss. The only reason I wouldn’t stay at white sands is it’s already full !!!!
I see such great things for these local islands and their people in years to come. Coconut oil made by the local women to treat hair from sun and salt water damage. Women braiding the tourist hair beautiful. Fruit smoothies made fresh on beach. Big industry is coming their way. It couldn’t happen to nicer people.
Thank you for making our stay so...
