We booked our trip to Pullman with Luxury Escapes, after being comforted by a previous glowing Google review who also booked through LS. We spent 7 amazing nights in an Ocean Pool Villa and upgraded our last night to the Aqua Villa. Our rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We were assigned rooms on the Sunrise side and felt this was the perfect location. It was close to Sol Rising, Souk Oven and PullmanFit. The tide seemed to be pretty low all day long on the Sunrise side, so snorkeling off our deck was not possible during our stay. We did snorkel near Romeo and Juliet and it was gorgeous. The bed and the linens were very good quality and we slept like babies. Also, the bath towels were very large and fluffy, which was impressive. Speaking of bath, the bathroom facilities in the rooms are "outdoor", so be aware, you will be using the toilet and getting ready in the heat and humidity. It rained pretty good one evening and we had our bathroom filled with water and soaked towels. We were satisfied when we checked into the Aqua Villa and the bathroom was fully enclosed, except the additional outdoor shower. We almost regretted not upgrading for more nights. Both baths are beautiful and have very nice smelling bath products. We loved how excursions and activities were included with our stay. We booked a couples massage and upgraded to a 90 minute massage for an extra fee. My hair was looking frizzy and rough from the elements, so I added on a coconut oil treatment for $20, which helped with the frizz. Anoj and Mara provided great service and techniques. We were very relaxed! Food and beverage: I consider myself a foodie and we fully enjoyed our selections throughout the week. The breakfast at Sol Rising was excellent, but we also loved Melange for breakfast. The fresh baked artisan bread and pastries are the stand outs. They will also make you eggs to order, if you request. Our favorite was Souk Oven for dinner; the filet and pasta dishes were the best. Phat Chameleon was a great experience, however slow service and a bit disorganized. We are not vegetarian, but the food and beverage was delicious. The selection at Melange is great for dinner, but it was our least favorite. We had standout service from Savvee at Sol Rising and Souk Oven. We loved the personal service from Prem and Micca at the Hub. Nisha at Melange was a delight! The cocktails are fantastic with upgraded spirits, such as Belvedere Vodka. The mojito was a stand out to us, as the fresh mint was clearly from the resort garden. It was delicious. The only aspect about the 80 bottles of wine advertised that's misleading is you cannot order a bottle of wine. They will only serve you by the glass, even if more than one person is drinking that wine at the table. Based off YouTube reviews, I was under the impression you could order a bottle at Souk Oven or Melange, but that is not the case. The service at the resort is friendly and they go above and beyond to satisfy. As previous reviews have mentioned, the transfer flight situation should be worked on. Guests should not have to wait at Male airport for more than 3 hours to get to the resort or to catch a flight home. I understand Maldivian Air has limited flights, but they could add to the schedule or find additional providers to make the experience a more enjoyable one. We had no choice but to take the boat at noon for a flight out of Male at 8:15pm. Upon arrival to Male, we couldn't check in our airline and had to wait in the un air-conditioned terminal for hours before we could go through security with our luggage. Both ways, it was not an enjoyable experience. Entertainment at the resort was adequate for us. We went to bed earlier each night, but the singer and keyboard player at the Hub was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed listening to them each night. We didn't have a chance to attend the DJ at Saffron, but I'm sure it was fun. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Pullman! I would love to return eventually!

Finally ticked Maldives off my bucket list and Pullman had always been the resort I wanted to tick it off with. Was very fortunate to be able to stay with them on this trip. The property is stunning with beautiful water and shades of blue all around. The staff were mostly very friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Ali (max) & Jenny at the bar were great, made some great drinks and was very hospitable. We stayed 2 nights at a beach pool villa and 3 nights at a sunset ocean pool villa. The beach villa was absolutely amazing. Easy access to a gorgeous beach. However there was a LOT of small sharp coral which made it a bit harder to enter the water. I understand it’s natural and they want to preserve as much nature as they can, so not sure how this can be solved. We however did have a few points that could have made this property where it truly belongs. Most of them just plain and simple things that should have come to management’s mind a while ago. 1) Water villas need better steps. To enter the lagoon, there are very steep rounded ladders. No flat steps. Many resorts have staircases that allow access to the lagoon, which would have been great to have here. That allows people of different ages and abilities easier access to the water. The rounded ladder was extremely slippery and hard to climb up and down since it’s so steep. I would never recommend this resort to my parents or anyone who might have difficulty climbing a steep rounded and slippery ladder. To be honest, this would be a big reason we would look at another resort next time we are thinking of Maldives. After all, the easy access to the lagoon is why you book a water villa. 2) You’ll need to hire more people just to drive buggies around the island. Considering the size of the island, only having couple buggies is not enough. There were multiple times we had to wait over 30 minutes for a buggy to come to pick us up. We also heard numerous other guests complaint about the same. 3) All day dining option part of the all-inclusive. When on a holiday, sometimes we like to wake up late. Breakfast closes at 10:30am and there is no food options till 12 noon. 4) More adult activities apart from yoga. Dart board wasn’t working either. Earlier I believe the resort used to offer complimentary excursions if you stay 5 nights, but they’ve changed that to 7 nights now. Unfortunately apart from 1 hour of non motorised water sports or using the fitness center, there’s not much to do that’s included in the package. Even the bicycles to get around the island are chargeable! Atleast if they were e-bikes it would have made sense. Also considering the cost per night, to charge 10++ USD for a coconut is crazy. Considering where we are, coconuts should not be a scarce commodity and chargeable. One would like to have a fresh coconut on a tropical island resort and should be included in the “all-inclusive” package. I understand lobsters being chargeable as that’s a luxury item, but coconuts? That’s coconuts! Every thing else was on par if not better than what you would expect from an all-inclusive resort in the Maldives and the Accor/Pullman chain. Unfortunately these few things (easily fixable) would take this resort from a 4* to a 5* in our opinion.

We recently spent 9 unforgettable days at Pullman Maldives Maamutaa to celebrate our 13th anniversary and my birthday, and despite a few hiccups at the start, it turned out to be one of our most memorable trips to the Maldives yet. To be honest, we almost changed resorts before arrival due to slow email communication, unclear villa details on the website, and a slight discrepancy between online rates and final quotes. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, I hold high expectations for guest communication, especially for a luxury property. That said, we’re glad we decided to stay—it was the right choice. We split our stay between two villas: the Ocean Pool Suite, which was spacious, had a large pool with a jet spa, and allowed us to watch rays and baby sharks glide by during low tide; and the Aqua Villa, one of only a few underwater accommodations in the Maldives. The highlight there was the floor-to-ceiling underwater bedroom window, where we spent hours mesmerized by the marine life—including reef fish, rays, and even a turtle. There were some cleanliness issues in our first room—unclean drawers, used water in the coffee machine, and water-filled baby bottles with debris—but the staff responded promptly once notified. The rest of our stay was smooth, and our Aqua Villa was spotless. Dining was a huge highlight. As vegetarians, we were blown away by Phat Chameleon, one of the few plant-based restaurants in the Maldives. We dined there nearly every night. When it was closed, we enjoyed Melange, where Ms. Nisha and Ms. Ani treated us like family. Ani even handcrafted a bouquet for our anniversary dinner—such a beautiful personal touch. Sol Rising offered healthy breakfasts with a stunning view, although service there was very slow, with 30+ minute waits for simple dishes. The spa was excellent—our couples massage was so relaxing I fell asleep 10 minutes in. We also booked photo sessions with Samuel, the in-house photographer, who captured our best memories with drone and professional shots. It was well worth it. Getting around the island was easy—we mostly used the buggy service, which was quick and reliable. We also had bicycles included in our package, although we used them more for photos than transport. Panorama Beach and the sandbank became our favorite places to catch the sunset—no boat needed, unlike our previous resorts. A very special thanks to Ms. Aiym, our host, who was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and proactive. She made us feel like her only guests and even gifted us a painting she did herself on our last day—something truly personal and memorable. We were also grateful for the late checkout, which made a big difference since our flight was at night. Transfers to and from the resort were seamless and well-organized. Overall, while the experience started a bit rough, Pullman more than made up for it. The staff, the villas, the dining, and the attention to detail made it a magical anniversary getaway. We would gladly return—next time for a bit longer!

I recently had the most incredible time at the Pullman resort in the Maldives, and I can't say enough about the exceptional service and unforgettable experiences. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the staff went above and beyond to make my stay truly remarkable.

Let me start by highlighting some of the fantastic individuals who made my trip unforgettable:

Taher at Melange: I had the pleasure of meeting Taher at the Melange restaurant, and I must say, the Egyptian food he served was out of this world. His kindness and dedication to ensuring I had a memorable meal made all the difference. The oxtail dish he recommended was an absolute standout, the best I've ever had! Please keep this in the menu as I would love to bring my bf here back one day! He would love this dish so much! Thank you so much Taher for all the food recommendations every time at Melange! Ali: Ali's warm and welcoming attitude at Melange added to the delightful dining experience. Makhthoom: Dining at Pullman was a treat, thanks to Makhthoom's impeccable service and attention to detail. Usbah, Zin, Aiham, and Asim: These wonderful waiters, along with Shifag Khan, Nuwan, Naafiu, and Safarr, made every meal a pleasure. Their dedication to ensuring that every aspect of the dining experience was perfect was truly commendable. Dinesh: The crepe pancakes prepared by Dinesh were a delightful morning indulgence that I looked forward to each day. Hassan: As the manager, Hassan's leadership and attention to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay. Passang and Ramila: The dessert team, including Passang and Ramila, went above and beyond to satisfy my sweet cravings, and their creations were exquisite. Aina and Salauddin: Aina's service as a waitress and Salauddin's expertise in serving the most delicious steaks made my dining experiences truly memorable. Ram: Ram, the buggy driver, ensured I got around the resort with ease and always with a friendly smile. Sahoo: Sahoo's pasta dishes were a comforting and delicious option, and I appreciated his culinary skills. Shah: As a manager, Shah's presence and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay.

Overall, my time at the Pullman resort in the Maldives was made exceptional by the dedicated and friendly staff members mentioned above. Their commitment to providing top-notch service and creating memorable experiences truly elevated my vacation. I can't wait to return to this paradise and experience their hospitality once again!

In addition to the outstanding service provided by the staff, I must also highlight the accommodations at the Pullman resort in the Maldives. The rooms were not only the best but also incredibly spacious. I felt like I had my own private slice of paradise right in my room, with breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches.

Moreover, the surrounding marine life was a true marvel. The Maldives is known for its vibrant and diverse underwater world, and Pullman certainly didn't disappoint. Snorkeling and diving right off the resort's shores allowed me to witness an abundance of marine life, from colorful coral reefs to exotic fish and even the occasional sighting of graceful manta rays and playful dolphins. It was like living in an underwater wonderland, and I couldn't have asked for a more incredible experience.

The combination of luxurious and spacious accommodations with the mesmerizing marine life just outside my doorstep made my stay at Pullman in the Maldives an absolute dream come true. It's a destination that not only pampers you with top-notch service but also immerses you in the natural beauty of the Indian Ocean. I can't recommend it enough for a truly...

I have planned this trip to PMM after my last trip there on Sep 2024. The experience i had on my first trip was in one word impeccable. Vouchers given for short/long stay was fair and justified on the first trip. Benefits were indeed generous.

But what happened during this trip is in one word. A disaster. I was not informed that the Hub has been taken away from the all inclusive. Vouchers were also nerfed. Meal selection during lunch and Dinner have also been taken away. Activities at Skillz was also now chargeable. To make matters worst was that there were Hard-Sells from the Staffs that made all the guest feel uncomfortable. When questioned by guest, the staff simply said that they had a quota to hit for their Service Charge fulfillment.

Staffing was also an issue. Service anywhere was slow like a sloth. My simple dinner at Souq Oven took 2 hours 30 mins instead of the usual 1hour 15mins due to the shortage of staff, there wasn't many people taking orders and when they took Table A's orders and were done, They would need to start serving Table B's Food. Food choices were also reduced and Souq Oven's Dinner menu was taken away which is immensely disappointing as the menu that was previously there was again in one word: Impeccable, and worth a revisit, which was even why we rebooked to come back.

During my last day of stay at PMM , i was informed that i would be taking the 3:15PM Speed Boat out of the Island to catch the 5PM Domestic Flight at Koodoo out. Take note that i was scheduled to fly from Male to Singapore on SQ437, which departs at 11:30PM. I was previously informed that we would be able to depart Domestically at 7PM and that the all inclusivity will be included till we leave the island. But this time around what was shocking and has defied logic was that the all inclusivity ended at 12PM which meant that any lunch on the island after 12pm would be chargeable. So as a guest who is trapped on said island, they would be forced to pay for their lunch till the next speed boat arranged out at 3:15PM. How your management team found this acceptable is truly logic-defying science.

The guests there were constantly reminded by the fact that the Resort was severely understaffed when even the buggy service went from a 7-10mins lead time to 30-45mins. We have been to other Maldives resorts and this is just simply unacceptable as the standard was either to provide a competent buggy service, or they will entitle guests to complimentary Push Bicycles for travelling around the Island.

During our stay in the resort. The standard of the beddings have also significantly dropped as the mattress was simply sinking and had a very uneven surface. Housekeeping tried their very best to conceal this by placing 2 mattress toppers instead of the usual 1 but the bed still felt very uneven.
