A visit to the Maldives Furaveri will blow your mind, if you love photography, if you love taking pictures, you are in for a really special time. It was my wife’s 50th birthday and our 25th wedding anniversary, the choice of Furaveri Maldives was very simple, a look at the website, the distinctive reviews, the impressive packages available, the gastronomic offerings and the highly responsive reservation team sealed the deal for us. ||Pevini Peiris & Mark Maher at reservations communicated extensively and promptly providing all the information needed, including packages, activities, and airport/seaplane transfers. The information provided made our 19 hr. travel time – flights from the United States to Furaveri Maldives, extremely easy, no stress at all. ||The team met us immediately we exited the airport arrival gates, assisted with luggage transfer through Seaplane terminal and at the Furaveri Maldives lounge where a variety of delightful snacks and chilled drinks were served. ||It was a brilliant welcome to this enchanting part of the world. The entire process from dismemberment from the international flight to the logistics involved in transferring to the seaplane terminal and 40 minute flight from Male to Furaveri Maldives was absolutely stress free, easy, and smooth, the team/staff of the resort made went over the call of duty to offer the best service possible, thank you so much for that. ||The view from the seaplane is the best view in the air, it transforms you into the unimaginable, the beyond belief views of untainted beauty, formations, and the divine artistry in creations, its beyond words, just experience it and you will understand it. After that gripping and mind transforming seaplane flight, you arrive to the warmth and receptiveness of the Furaveri Maldives team and hosts. ||The cold towel soothes the dripping sweat from the pervading heat that greets your arrival to one of the most anointed, blessed and boundlessly beautiful places in the world, all you saw is wow and the pleasurable journey, the serenity and transformation into another world begins. ||Right from the Jetty on arrival back to the Jetty for departure, the Furaveri Maldives team treat you like royalty. We planned to have a vacation to celebrate our anniversary and the 6-month birthday of our baby girl. We booked this resort and told them about these special occasions, and they asked me to provide the marriage certificate, which I sent to them. However, they came back to say that the marriage date was not within the period of our stay, and their policy is not to provide anything if it is not in the same period, despite the fact that we arrived on the first weekend after our anniversary (5 days after the marriage date). This clearly shows how cheap the mentality of the resort manager is.

Furthermore, the manager is so cheap that he did not hire someone for the pool and public beach area. There were no beach towels left, and many kids came to the towel cabinet looking for towels to dry themselves after swimming, only to find none left. I contacted the front desk team via WhatsApp after asking multiple staff members to request the responsible person to provide towels, but no one showed up. The front desk team appeared online three times without making any effort to reply until I texted them saying it was disrespectful not to answer. Only then did they respond. After waiting for about an hour, they finally brought towels. On top of that, the beach towels were literally frayed and very, very old—definitely not safe to be used for kids. Again, this is all due to the cheap mentality of the manager who refuses to hire someone to supervise that area.

In the villa, there was a coffee machine but no coffee capsules, which is very weird. When I asked about it, they said it was the resort’s policy to only provide them when guests ask, and you have to keep asking every day as they don’t replace what you consume. Again, this is another reflection of the cheap mentality of the manager.

We also wanted to celebrate our daughter’s 6-month birthday, so we called in-room dining to request a brownie cake with “Happy Birthday” written on the plate. They panicked and said they would call back. It turned out they thought we were asking for a free cake, even though we clearly stated that we wanted to order one. When they finally brought the cake, it tasted bad. Once again, the cheap mentality of the manager negatively impacted his team.

Our experience at Rayvilla Restaurant was also disappointing. We went there for lunch and arrived at 2 PM, which was 30 minutes before closing. The staff told us they could not host us because they were fully booked for lunch. However, the restaurant was completely empty. When we questioned how they could be fully booked yet no guests had arrived so close to closing time, they claimed they were waiting for a group of 26 people. After arguing with them, they finally gave us a table, and by the time the restaurant closed, none of the 26 people they were supposedly expecting had shown up. They just wanted to refuse us for no reason or probably to close the kitchen earlier.

As for the villa itself, the only downside is that the terrace has no shaded area at all, making it impossible to stay outside during the daytime because the sun is too strong. This is a big issue for those who want to relax outdoors without being exposed to direct sunlight all day.

If you are coming for a normal vacation, the resort is not a bad option, but if you plan to celebrate a special occasion, just stay away from this resort. Don’t expect anything from a resort managed by a cheap mentality manager.

The cheap mentality of the manager ruins the whole experience. As further proof of this, the welcoming papers we received stated that, according to resort policy, all guests would be received with refreshing towels and a coconut drink. This did not happen, which suggests that it might have been a policy from the previous manager that the new manager forgot to remove. Another clear example of how poorly managed the resort is.

Furaveri Resort Maldives is surrounded by a shimmering blue lagoon, white-sand beaches, and swaying palms, and we had the finest trip with a wonderful experience in all aspects. We were thinking that Maldives is the best for honeymoon, but Tamanna made this experience unforgettable not only for us but for my kids as well.

Excellent resort, we were extremely fortunate to experience exceptional service from the seaplane till we landed in Resort and enthusiastic staff who truly made our visit memorable.

We had a virtuous time with my family and kids, a wide selection of restaurants with delicious food and tremendous nature’s views.

The island team greeted us with excellent reception with great music and local dance. The island has a dedicate platform for Seaplane docking ,hicwhic not common in Maldives.

Since the moment we landed, Island Host Tamanna hailed us with an earnest smile and sincere enthusiasm, with truly incomparable skills. Explanation regarding Resort's offerings to us and spespeciallo our kids’ with immaculate courtesy to every detail suited to our taste and tailored entertainment. She upgraded us without even asking for it to show her curtesy.

JAAFAIY is one of the best buffets with unique cuisine in breakfast with customized th d on request, every morning and every night different cuisines with various parparts the world. Chef is always checking on guests to ensure they are satisfied and if they wanted anything.

Teppanyaki (Asian restaurant) experience in the resort was the best with excellent Chef Zubair who pampered us with extraordinary gesture and add espspecialste in dishes we ordered.

Bar is the best place to relax with music, drinks and entertainment every night. Rahul, Bala an,, aneir Supervisor provided the best time and services to us. Our dining experiences were made exceptional by the impeccable service provided by wh thele team. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail ensured that every meal was a delight. Staff was welcoming demedemeanou sincere apprehension for guest satisfaction whic, whic very evident in every gesture.

Shisha experience was unbelievable and guy from Nepal made the best Shisha and his kindness extended far beyond the mere duties of his role.

Amigos Restaurant has amazing Location especially during sun set. Jet skiing is also good but not enough option available as they need to upgrade the water sports, since they have lack of skies and staff.

The Spa experience was indescribable as the lady in Spa with her kindness and personality undoubtedly left a lasting impression to me and my wife during the visit.

Unforgettable entertainment shows, we have experienced on daily basis with unique set of talent, started with kids’ entertainment. We loved the way, how the entertainment team is interacting with guests and kids. Zezo and Ahmad were literally doing the whole event with the exceptional fire show, truly remarkable.

The villas are very clean, neat, and well-designed. We got private pool and Jacuzzi in our villa with widest ocean view that makes the Villa more beautiful and memorable.

Buggy Drivers are frequently available at everytime of stay and they are all like tourist guides, talking very nice and making you to know about the Maldives and the resort.

I suggest taking the full board option during as it will save a lot of money and hustle, which we missed. The only WORST part in ttrip was the local island trip which was very expensive and extremely waste of time and money, since we had literally wasted the time which can be utilized in resort. Local island has literally nothing to see or eat. It is t not recommended as it is waste of time and should be reviewed by Management for improvement.

In a nut shell, our stay at Furaveri Resort was excellent thanks to the wonderful team with excellent Restaurants and entertainment.
