Atoll Residence — Hotel in South Ari Atoll

The hotel staff is very helpful, Assad is interested to know every day how you are doing, what your wishes are. The locals are friendly, safety 100% (if you follow the rules - don't walk around the island in a swimsuit). Bikini beach is within walking distance (2 minute walk) but its condition is not 100% (damaged sunbeds, occasional mess after the party (they organize safari boat crews for guests). The hotel has been open for 2 years - I would recommend to start taking care of regular maintenance (furniture, bathroom). Cleaning of the building and surroundings is done every day several times, room cleaning on request. Food simple, mostly fish (if they are caught). If you dive, there are several dive centres on the island, and there are daily diving and snorkelling trips to different locations. The negative is the presence of a junkyard on the other side of the island, but that is probably the reality on most local islands. It's not 5/5, it's 10/5! 😍 Me and my 8 yo son stayed at Atoll Residence for a week in March and both of us loved every detail of our vacation there: the room was clean and very stylish, beautiful view from the balcony, comfy bed and well-equiped bathroom. We booked FB and never regret about that-very tasty homemade dishes, every day with something special like whole grilled fish or burgers.. Or soup that I'll never forget 🤤 Special thnx to the people here, everybody was so kind to us. Asad became a great friend of my son, and now at home he talks about him and their riding a bike around the island.
