Swarn by Hawks Hotel Kamadhoo Baa Atoll — Hotel in South Maalhosmadulu

We stayed at Swarn for 2 nights for our delayed honeymoon/ 1st anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Shaniu and team who took us to our beautiful room. The room was breathtaking, we stayed at their penthouse which is 360 view of the island and the ocean. The amenities, including the pool and restaurant, were top-notch, and the food was delicious. The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we felt safe and secure throughout our stay. Rooms Architecture and Facilities are truly luxurious and what made our stay unforgettable was the incredible service. |Their team made everything so effortless, every request was met with warmth, promptness and genuine hospitality. The entire team was consistently friendly and yet professional, always making us feel welcomed and cared for. ||Hana, Thankyou for making our reservation process so easy. She was attentive, even recommended local cafes and activities we can enjoy at the island. Everything was well taken care of. ||Mahesh, our room attendant made sure that our room was clean, ensured all of our needs are met and everything was in perfect order. He even set up a beautiful bed decoration and Jacuzzi before we checked in.||Hassan, Our F&B host never fails to put a welcoming smile on his face, Makes our favorite coffee every morning without having to ask for it. Hassan was attentive, friendly, Our orders were taken and delivered promptly, and any requests were handled with a smile. His professionalism and genuine care for our dining experience made every meal even more enjoyable. We were truly impressed by their outstanding service.. We decided at the last minute on January 28th, 2024, to spend a vacation in the Maldives, taking advantage of a few days off that were granted to me without notice. Fabiola from the “Maldive Low Cost” group suggested Swarn by Hawks in Kamadhoo. We had already been to both a resort and a guest house and were looking for an island with a beautiful “bikini beach”, spacious with a reef within a few strokes. Our expectations were fully met and even exceeded.|The structure is located facing the island's small port and although it might seem like a not exceptional position, it turned out to be extremely convenient: a few steps from the landing, you are already at the reception and in a few moments, you take possession of the rooms. We enjoyed extremely comfortable rooms, always well cleaned and made up, equipped with every comfort with large bathrooms and an always exceptional view due to the large windows. In each room, there was always potable water, which is not a given in other accommodations, and the beds turned out to be extremely comfortable.|All the staff showed kindness and availability in every circumstance. We celebrated my daughter's birthday on January 2nd and despite the unfortunately stormy weather with rain and wind, the staff managed to organize a wonderful little party with dinner, decorations, and surprises, indoors.|One of the advantages of Swarn by Hawks turned out to be precisely on the occasion of inclement weather, as in case of rain, the availability of covered spaces beyond those of your own room represents an added value.|The transfers from Velana Airport, Male, to Kamadhoo were organized with an internal flight and about half an hour by speedboat: impeccable, with excellent assistance, which took care of directing us at every moment, taking care of our luggage.|The offer included excursions that were in turn unique and unforgettable experiences, again thanks to the availability and I must say the high professionalism of the staff, who took care of all the details with extreme attention to safety.|Kamadhoo is a small and charming island, with a welcoming and available resident population. The bikini beach is reached with a pleasant five-minute walk through the small village and a wonderful green area. The beach itself is spacious and equipped with many sunbeds. Swarn always provided us with bath towels, changing them at our request with clean ones. The island's reef is really very close to the bikini beach.|The full board service was excellent. We are not people who look for Italian or other food on vacation and the dishes offered, both buffet and menu, were all simple but very good. With an extra charge, other choices and drinks were available, with completely acceptable prices.|We left with the desire to return as soon as possible to find wonderful people who made us feel, for every minute of our vacation, assisted...

We had the holiday of a lifetime at Swarn by Hawks Hotel, due to the beauty and atmosphere on Kamadhoo, the amazing facilities of the hotel, and, most importantly, Swarn’s incredible, friendly and dedicated staff.||The rooms are as gorgeous as the photos suggest and the housekeeping team are excellent. Reception is friendly, helpful and informative for any questions or requests, as well as transfers/day trips to and from the island.||We enjoyed the food at the hotel, and were pleasantly surprised by the many other options on Kamadhoo if you do wish to dine out. Don’t listen when people say you must go all inclusive at your hotel in Maldives, or else be charged ridiculous prices for food/snacks… perhaps this is true of resort islands, but for Kamadhoo this was not the case (but do remember cash as not everywhere will accept card, and at present there is no ATM on the island).||Some special mentions - thank you so much to Rifa for the snorkelling excursions and his time. We were truly well looked after and the quality of his tours were amazing. He and his team took particular care to ensure we went on outings at the right times to encounter marine wildlife we wished to see and his extensive knowledge of marine life and the Maldives was interesting and impressive.||Thank you so much to restaurant supervisor Adikari and his restaurant team, who were always friendly, willing to accommodate any requests, and overall provided an excellent standard of service every day - whether it be breakfast, dinner, or room service. Hassan was welcoming and warm, always with a smile and brilliant service. Bikas, too, was attentive, kind and generally they were just superb and really made us feel like valued guests.||All in all, this hotel made our August Maldives trip the greatest holiday. The panoramic room views, services offered by the hotel and lovely location meant that even though our first couple days were a bit stormy, we did not feel as though there were any wasted days in such a beautiful location. The island’s fairly large and uncrowded beach and reef were gorgeous and you can certainly receive a 5* luxury experience on an incredible Maldivian island without paying the ££££ for a floating bungalow resort!
