My recent holiday at Robinson Noonu in the Maldives was nothing short of extraordinary, and I couldn’t wait to share my experience with others. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a paradise that exceeded every expectation, with impeccable service, amazing food, and unforgettable moments that made this the best holiday I’ve ever had.||The moment we arrived at Robinson Noonu, it was clear that this resort is a true gem. The warm and friendly welcome from the staff set the tone for the entire stay. A special mention must go to Zoe from the Guest Relations team, who greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm. She was there to ensure everything went smoothly and provided us with all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. Zoe’s care and attention to detail were evident throughout, and her personalized touch made a huge difference.||One of the standout features of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. They were always available for anything we needed, whether it was offering great recommendations for activities or simply having enjoyable evening chats, they were truly fantastic. Their friendly, welcoming nature ensured we felt right at home throughout our time at the resort. I’ll miss those casual yet meaningful conversations. ||And then, there was JJ, from the bar. If there’s anyone who truly made our experience feel like a VIP holiday, it was JJ. Not only did he ensure that our glasses were never empty, but his charisma and great conversation skills made every visit to the bar something to look forward to. Whether we were starting the evening with cocktails or enjoying a nightcap, JJ’s energy and expertise behind the bar were top-notch. I’ll always remember the fun chats and his ability to make a mean drink.||Lastly, Zaarath, the Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. He truly epitomized what exceptional hospitality looks like. From arranging to ensuring we had everything we needed at every step, Zaarath made us feel like we were the only guests in the resort. His commitment to making our holiday a once-in-a-lifetime experience was evident in everything he did. His attentiveness and dedication to his guests are truly unmatched.||The villas at Robinson Noonu are spectacular. We stayed in a beautiful overwater sunset villa, where we woke up to the sound of the ocean and stunning views of the turquoise waters. The villa itself was spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with every luxury one could desire. The private terrace with direct access to the ocean was perfect for relaxing, watching the fish swim beneath, or enjoying an incredible sunset every night . It felt like our own slice of paradise, offering both privacy and luxury in the most peaceful setting. Not to forget the housekeeping team made this even better being on top of your villa keeping it looking brand new to the highest cleanest standard possible. ||The in-villa dining at Robinson Noonu was a true highlight of our stay. The food or drink you ordered arrived being fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious every single time. Whether we were enjoying a light breakfast on our terrace, or some extra drinks to the room. The room service was always prompt, and the staff who delivered the meals were always friendly and polite, adding a personal touch to the whole experience.||The resort’s main restaurant offered a variety of dining options, from Maldivian-inspired dishes to international cuisine. Every meal was exceptional, and the buffet had something for everyone, whether you’re a fan of fresh seafood, international comfort food, or local delicacies. The seafood was incredibly fresh and often prepared right before your eyes. The selection of desserts also stood out – each one a little work of art.||There was no shortage of activities at Robinson Noonu. Whether we were interested in water sports, relaxing by the pool, or exploring the natural beauty of the Maldives, there was always something to do. We loved the variety of water-based activities offered, such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters. The resort’s house reef is teeming with vibrant marine life. We had the privilege of swimming with schools of tropical fish and even seeing a few gentle sea turtles alongside reef sharks, eagle rays and many others. The staff made sure we had everything we needed for these activities, and they were always on hand to offer tips and ensure we were safe and having fun.||As for entertainment, we were never bored. In the evenings, there were themed nights, live music, and cultural performances that were very engaging and entertaining. The atmosphere was always lively but never overbearing. One of my favorite evenings was the Diamond night which included an amazing dance performance. Also Robinson Noonu olympics was one not to miss as it brought all the guests together providing laughs and pure entertainment in a truly special way.||Overall, Robinson Noonu has truly set the bar when it comes to providing a luxury island experience. The resort’s commitment to guest satisfaction was evident in every aspect of our stay, from the unparalleled service provided by Zoe, Amy, Elisa, JJ, and Zaarath, to the exquisite accommodations and activities. The food, both in-villa and at the restaurants, was nothing short of outstanding, and the entertainment and activities ensured there was never a dull moment. Well what can we say! No matter how good of a review we leave, it will not do justice to how good Robinson Noonu actually is!

Room We stayed in the over water bungalow with a sea view and it was perfect, the view from the room was unreal and the facilities were second to non. Good pressure from both showers and great bathroom facilities, the only issue is that the bathroom is open at the back meaning when it rains the floor can become slippy, however, the staff leave ample towels to ensure you have a safe passage over the surface. The bed is very comfortable and the air con is good quality and worked a treat. The pool was clean and well needed in the heat, along with the steps into the sea we had our own bit of paradise.

Food We had the pleasure of trying both the restaurant and in-villa dining. The in-villa dining was of good quality, very much recommended if you fancy a night relaxing in your villa. We also had the luxury of trying the floating breakfast which was lovely, the variety we received was great and the quantity was amazing if not overwhelming, but we did try our best to eat it all. Now then, these two do not come close to what we experienced in the restaurant, from breakfast to lunch the food is out of this world with the evening meal even better. Vinoj and his team provide a culinary masterclass, it is stated as a buffet style restaurant, however, me and my wife would rather describe it as a cooking class as everything is prepared and cooked infront of your eyes, with the presentation just as good as the flavour. Just to add to how good the kitchen staff are, my wife has a severe NUT allergy and she was catered for with professionalism and inclusion, making sure she could enjoy all the flavours on offer.

A special mention to the waiting staff and restaurant manager Cooray, as they could not do enough for you and ensured your comfort and requests were their mission, a mission they successfully completed every meal time.

Entertainment There is always something to do, Timo and the team provide entertainment every night. The live performances of dance and singing are great, with lots of variety and lots of fun. There is also so much more on offer, me and my wife made use of the beer taxi on both occasions it was on, along with both pool parties which were great !! The sundowner bar is a lovely place to unwind and chill and catch a great sunset if you wish to take a minute and take in your mini paradise. Ganna is the fitness manager and ensures you are on your toes especially In the charity iron man!!!! But the gym and work out facilities are also of a very high quality. The football pitch was also a highlight.

The staff All of the staff from management to the cleaning are what you expect from a 5 star resort. All were eager to please and help in any way they could, every one of them went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience.

The resort itself The resort is of high quality and the views are amazing! The sea life you witness, even without snorkel gear, is fabulous. It really is the 'island of dreams'.

The only con we have is that the time of the year we went, the weather is unpredictable and can change pretty rapid, that said we had just as many dry sunny days as we had overcast/rainy days. This is only due to the time of year and is out of everyone's control, we went with this knowledge anyway so it put no dampner on our experience in the slightest.

They call it the Island of Dreams and it is easy to see why! We have had an amazing holiday, in the most picture perfect setting, surrounded by the most helpful and accommodating staff. We would highly recommend a stay at Robinson Noonu.

We stayed in one of the sunset water bungalows. On arrival the room had been prepared beautifully for our wedding anniversary. The bungalow was fantastic, spoiling us with an amazing sea view and beautiful sunsets. The room was perfect for our needs and was well attended by Manjula, who kept everything well stocked and clean.

Meals in the restaurant were wonderful. The variety of food over the duration of our stay was fantastic, with plenty of vegetarian options. It was great to watch the very talented chefs prepare your meals as you wait. One night we opted to pay for a meal at the speciality restaurant Nooma. We were treated to an amazing meal, served on a private table on the beach. The food was beautifully prepared and wonderfully tasty. On returning to our bungalow, homemade pralines had been left as a surprise, a lovely extra touch. We also ordered a floating breakfast one morning - it was enormous and amazing! An experience we won't forget.

The service in the restaurant was excellent. A special mention to Cooray (one half of the delightful Thomson and Thompson!) who greeted us on our first day and thoughtfully showed us around the restaurant to help us familiarise ourselves. From that point onwards he always took time to make sure we were well seated, had everything we needed and were well cared for during our stay. He, along with the rest of the staff in the restaurant work exceptionally hard and are a credit to Robinson's. There were too many wonderful staff to name, but special thanks to the lovely Nisali too, who answered all our questions about the island, recommended fruits for us to try and shared stories with us too. She was lovely company during meals. Amir was also great company too, always cheerful, obliging and made us feel really welcome.

In terms of the island itself, it is simply stunning. White sand, clear blue sea, lush green spaces - breathtaking! Special mention to the wonderful staff who work so hard maintaining the grounds and keeping everything looking so beautiful. We enjoyed spending time at the beach near the Sundowner Bar, along with chilled evenings there, watching the sunset, drinking cocktails and listening to chilled DJ beats - perfection!

If you love nature there is so much to see. We enjoyed watching the baby black tip reef sharks in the shallows, snorkeling with a variety of fish and being lucky enough to see a turtle and rays. The bats were an unexpected surprise but a highlight for us. One afternoon we took the dolphin boat trip and had a fantastic experience, seeing lots of dolphins and flying fish.
