Villa Blueberry Hills — Hotel in Żejtun

With reference to the review written further below by Ms. Alicia Mc Mahon, we hereby would like to prove that her review is completely false. Like so many other guests, Ms Mc Mahon had to cancel her booking due to the covid-19 global pandemic which she did very close to arrival date. Her booking was made via Homeaway which guests are aware (prior booking) that website offers free cancellation by latest 60 days prior arrival. Having said that, we have however offered her to re-schedule booking to other dates of her choice - something we did with all our guests effected by Covid-19. Ms Mc Mahon however insisted that she wanted a full refund and even threatened us that she will write bad reviews everywhere only because she is lawyer. We have sent her several emails before her arrival but we never received a reply. Finally this issue was resolved but she failed to correct her review - Holiday...

Superb outdoors, but average indoors and uncomfortable beds!

We stayed at villa blueberry in mid-July 2021. The outdoor pool area is honestly fantastic and probably as good as it gets for a rental farmhouse/villa of this size in Malta. The indoor area is comfortable and average, including a comfortable kitchen, a tight dining table in the middle of the kitchen, and a living room that feels crammed due to a snooker table being stuck in.

The very unfortunate thing was that all 8 of us adults (over all 5 bedrooms) had mattresses that were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on, and resulted in us jit getting a single good nights rest (not to mention back aches). It really was disappointing, and we recommend that the owner replaces all the mattresses, which I'm positive are very old now.

The property owners refused to give me a refund after we paid in full. Due to the Global Pandemic, Malta closed their borders, Airlines grounded flights. What kind of ethical practice is this???? I feel very wronged and cheated here. It is thousands of dollars of my hard working money and they just kept it and send them their 60 day cancellation policy. I am gutted and feel this is just morally indecent and just plan unfair professional practice. I have reached out to every one I can to see if they will help me. Not OK to take peoples money like this. Just not good business. Please consider this when you want to book this property. Chris Cachia Please...
