First off all, it’s a 3* hotel. Just keep that in mind before writing/reading any review. What u pay is what u get and u can’t have all the things a 5* has :)
So… The BEST experience from the hotel is their STAFF! Hands down to every single one - from the guys that are opening the doors, receptionists, cleaners etc. They are working hectic schedules and are going above and beyond. If u need absolutely anything - extra towels, u want to maybe move to a different room/level the staff is there to help u and to provide u the best experience/holidays. If it’s possible, they will try to make it happen.
Location and noise - this particular part of Malta is a very (I mean very) party place. I am talking about hundreds of really young people having fun till 6am on the streets with loud music accompanying till, let’s say, 3am. So if u are more for relaxing holidays, sleeping tight, bad sleeper (recommend earplugs!) I kinda don’t recommend the hotel. Is really more for younger generation. But on the otherside the isolation is really good! U can still hear noise from the street, but earplugs do the work perfectly. So it’s perfectly situated for party ppl, the best clubs/restaurants are just a meter away. But on the other hand it’s a good staring point for all the buses heading anywhere in Malta.
ROOMs (with balcony and a good working A/C) - are cleaned every single day (u get fresh towels etc)! They are artistically done, nice, good isolation. There’s a kettle, some instant coffee (this is a plus!), TV, really fast wifi, big mirror, sunproff curtains, wardrobe with a small fridge and a safe! The only thing that could really be extra is the toilet brush, some extra hooks in the bathroom… Other stuff like an iron would be just extra level. So don’t expect that whole full 5* room. But some essential could be added. One minus is also that some rooms are interconnected with doors, so be good to the neighbors 😁
Breakfast is good - every day is the same but there’s diversity. Some fruit, cereals, eggs, bacon, cold cuts, cheese, different bread, coffee/tea, juice/water etc. basically there’s something for every taste. Even if u don’t eat some sort of food u can find something u do :)! Just can’t be picky, again it’s a 3* hotel.
So overall, good 3* hotel!!! Location is perfect as a starting point of exploring Malta (really good bus connections, don’t recommend car rentals at all), also can learn some new songs that are summer hits just while in your bed when balcony door is opened :))), and the most important- best customer service ever, that’s why it deserves...

I booked this hotel before it had finished based on the artists impressions released by the hotel. I stayed in a standard double with a balcony.
Pro’s Good sized room. Great air con - necessary for Malta in summer. Close to the Ross bus stop - useful to getting to all the sites and getting away from Paceville. The TD2 bus to and from the airport drops you off just a 5 min walk from the hotel. Walking distance to several restaurant and bars, and several supermarkets to buy water and snacks. Friendly and helpful staff. Has a pool. My room generally looked like the artist’s impression. Although I would say the finish was definitely rushed. Good sized bed and my mattress was firm which I liked. Good showers with good water pressure. Luggage storage facilities.
Cons Whilst the rooms appear to be complete in July 2022. There is still building work ongoing - the shop downstairs and the club are not open, and you can hear drilling and whatnot during the day. The area - Paceville is quite grim and dirty. It’s a party destination and a bar on the same road generally has a crowd late into the night. My room was on the 9th floor and so not too bad, I could still hear screaming around 4am (and this was midweek - I imagine weekends are worse). If you are on a lower floor I imagine it would be quite noisy at night. The rooftop looks nothing like the artists impression. The pool is a good size, but there are no showers by the poolside which is quite gross. The finish of the overall area is basic, and not as glam as the artists impression. The breakfast. The buffet breakfast is ok and has coffee, orange juice, eggs, bacon, sausages, bread and cereal. However, if you do not eat pork it does get quite dull. There are nearby food places for a more exciting breakfast. The breakfast restaurant Carmeleon has been done up to a good standard. The hotel front and foyer is small and basic. No hairdryers in the rooms and no iron to borrow. The artists impressions show lots of communal areas - these do not appear to exist.
Ultimately, the hotel did the job and was an adequate 3 star hotel. We spent most of our time outside exploring. The surrounding area is pretty grim and a poor representation of Malta and so ultimately I would not stay here again. But if you’re in Malta to party, it’s in a good...
Read moreArrived in the early hours of the morning 1.45 Am decent check in,first impression of the room was disappointing as there wasn’t a wardrobe t hang your clothes, room was more like a hostel,|Good point on the room was the bed and shower, lots of noise throughout the night as you were in the main bar / party area so you will be woken through the night. |The lifts weren’t great and sometimes only one working especially at breakfast time when it was busy , breakfast was decent pretty good selection to suit most people, with balcony for smoking, staff were friendly, next to hotel. Food/Pizza chips etc , if you wanted something a bit more special as you come out of hotel turn left and a few hundred yards away lovely Italian Restaurant called Tango &Fork lovely fresh food and reasonably priced gets busy so you might need to book in advance |Hotel is ideal for the younger generation who likes to party it’s beside all the clubs etc |About 10 to 15 minutes away is the beach ,there is short walk down lots of steps onto a pebble like beach , recommend you wear some type of footwear to suit we didn’t and was little uncomfortable walking on pebble type beach |Would not recommend this hotel for...
