This is a reasonably-priced hotel on the outskirts of Calvillo. But that's not the reason to stay here. You get more valuable things that money just can't buy. The owners are on-site, which makes a huge difference in any business. ||||Pride in their town, pride in their hotel shine through. They speak English as do some of the staff. These people will do anything for you to make your stay more rewarding and pleasant. They are well-versed in the attractions of Calvillo and if you are interested, will take the time to direct you to them. They do more than hand you a map and a smile. They care that you have a good time and get to know their town. ||||The rooms are spacious and everything works. A/C / heat effective. There are USB charging ports built into the wall over the desk. Nice pool area and a Jacuzzi bath in the room which I didn't expect. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The double beds were just average but I seemed to sleep fine and I'm never a good sleeper. Every person employed there were extremely nice and accommodating. I was actually a little sad to leave them. There is a complimentary breakfast in the upstairs restaurant which was great! I expected the usual continental style meal but no... I had fruit and a full hot Mexican breakfast cooked to my liking. Bravo! For dinner there is an excellent restaurant 5 just five minutes away walking called Las Troncas.||The downside of La Gloria is its proximity to Calvillo, however taxis are abundant and for 10 pesos it can't be beat. While I didn't watch much TV, the screen was very small for such a spacious room. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Gloria! It is a hotel very...

We booked the garden/pool area and the function room for the evening dinner and party. Excellent rooms, excellent service,...
