Pros: absolutely stunning design, incredibly quiet and peaceful, most comfortable bed outside my own I have found, beautiful views, delicious home cooked breakfast every morning, very responsive virtual front desk, detailed emails and correspondence on things to do / additional important info Cons: they suggest you rent a car, and truly you must. It’s about a 12 min drive down a dirt road to town, so not something you’d want to walk, and a half hour or so walk to the beach at least. Also, they have chronic power issues which are not within their control (state controlled power company) and we encountered multiple blackouts per day, which also controls the water. They have a generator but it is only turned on with an extended blackout. Honestly not a huge deal, just happened to be a wedding weekend for us so getting ready on a set schedule with blackouts was challenging.

Absolutely stunning property, incredible & attentive staff, delicious breakfast. This was my first time to Todos Santos and I will, without a doubt, be back to this town and more importantly this hotel. If you're thinking about it, just come!!

This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Every aspect was impeccable- the location, the rooms, the staff. Absolutely gorgeous and so relaxing.

I’m sad to say I had a very negative experience with this place and felt the need to share so others are aware of the discrepancy between the website and the actual hotel, as well as how the virtual staff responds.

This isn’t a hotel, and it isn’t really an Airbnb. It’s more bed and breakfast if there was no staff at the house. The website calls it a hotel but it isn’t. I wasn’t made aware it is a completely virtual check in process and no one would be on site at any time until it was within two weeks of booking and I was no longer able to cancel. The room itself is gorgeous and well designed though one downside for some may be that it is completely open including the toilet so no door to close. They say there’s a kitchen with water and snacks and other items but when I arrived late when other stores weren’t open and was looking for water to drink, the fridge had two mini waters, a few mini coca colas, maybe 2 pieces of fruit and a half eaten bag of chips out. Totally fine, just letting you know to bring in any water or other items you need.

As others have shared it’s quite far out down a dirt road. They advertise its walking distance to the beach but it’s at least a 30 minute walk down an unmarked path so would say that beach proximity is exaggerated.

After checking in and seeing the place is just a room with a shared partial kitchen, not near the beach, and about 30 minutes roundtrip from town I decided this just wasn’t going to work for a trip for a friend and I and we decided to go to another hotel. I let them know by email, the only way to get ahold of them, so they could open up the room to others. I didn’t ask for a refund and didn’t complain outside of just letting them know why it wouldn’t work for me. I received a message back from someone saying the would let management know and two days later I got a very curt, rude and novel of an email back telling me all the ways I was wrong, how the website is accurate, etc. I was pretty surprised at how rude the owner was and how accusatory when I had tried to do the right thing by letting them know they could open the room up.

Others have liked this place but just want people to be aware of my experience as you’re planning your trip. There are other hotels nearby that offer more services in an equally modern style that I feel are a better value given this place was still not inexpensive, so just take a look before you let the website lead you...

Just returned from a leadership retreat at this incredible property, and we’re already dreaming of our next visit. It was perfect at every turn — restorative, inspiring, and seamless. The moment you step onto the grounds, you feel it: this place is something special. Thoughtfully designed architecture blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating an inviting, cozy atmosphere throughout the common areas and casitas. And those views!

The remote location wasn’t just ideal — it was intentional. We knew exactly what we were in for and it didn’t disappoint. Far enough to feel like a true escape, but still an easy walk to the beach, where we strolled along an untouched stretch of coastline. No crowds, no resorts — just raw beauty and peace. And yes, the road is unpaved — welcome to the charm of Todos Santos. If you know, you know.

The staff deserves a standing ovation. Housekeeping was on point each morning / present but never intrusive, responsive and attentive at every turn. The sense of safety was unmatched, with on-site security offering added peace of mind without disrupting the vibe.

Now, let’s talk food. Breakfast was out of this world — fresh, homemade, and easily some of the best we had in all of Baja. We brought in the house chef for lunch and dinner too, and every meal was restaurant-quality: clean, fresh ingredients, presented with care and flavor to match. Perfectly balanced for a wellness-forward group like ours.

We rented out the entire property, and everything ran flawlessly — from the warm communication leading up to our stay, to the final goodbye. This is a place that understands what travelers crave: authenticity, comfort, beauty, and a true sense of place.

10/10 for sure. Thank you for creating this haven — in such extraordinary surroundings ....

I recently stayed here on a girls’ trip, and it was AMAZING! We rented the entire property to accommodate our group, and it was beautiful and pristine. The communication was a perfect 12/10 - truly exceptional. The homemade breakfast was easily some of our favorite food on the trip. The staff was lovely and there is security on-site.

I noticed another review mentioning concerns about the remote location. If you’ve been to Todos Santos, you know that renting a car is essential to get anywhere - this applies to ALL hotels and accommodations. I also noticed they said it was down a dirt road - many roads in Todos are dirt roads. Docking a point for these things is not fair. This property is in the perfect location, and we were able to get to a beach super easy. In fact, we strolled along the beach for two miles and enjoyed the beautiful, unspoiled landscape without resorts lining every inch.

Overall this property exceeded my expectations and our group absolutely loved...
