What an absolutely AMAZING place!!! I have been to Mex on all sorts of trips from tv productions to just simple getaways and this Inn RIGHT on the sand on Cerritos Beach is a true GEM!! After a long day of hitting the town in Todos Santos and Pescadero doing whatever your adventure is, coming back to the Inn with all the creature comforts you could ask for is so just so refreshing. One of my favorite touches is the Amazing hot tub right on the sand!! Just relaxing in the tub by the surf pretty much nails it for me!! The food prepared by the house crew is excellent ; do not miss the eggs benedict (and thats not a typo) or the fresh fish and many other homemade tasting, very authentic and unique dishes! (I mean even fried chicken?!?!?! DEELISH) The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy, great king beds and awesome showers (i had an ocean view from my shower window). You are as connected as you wanna be with the Inn offering free wifi and a couple satellite tvs in the bar area! Truly though, the real magic is in disconnecting, decompressing and enjoying Cerritos Beach and the surrounding areas with an amazing home base like the Cerritos Beach Inn to retreat to. The staff is great and friendly, theres is a great little pool in the front and an area to grill. Lots of outside seating with a killer roof patio (so many stars)! Whether your down to Cerritos Beach on a surf trip or a romantic getaway or just to hang with friends this little Inn on the Beach accommodates for all of the above and more!! I will be back ASAP, if I could have given it ten stars I would it really is that great! You will feel right at home!! ...
Read moreWe had a wonderful time Thanksgiving week 2021! We had scouted out Cerritos Beach Inn back in November 2020 on a trip to Todos Santos from CSL. It was a stop along the way for lunch and a refresher at their restaraunt. The food and drink were great, the service was wonderful, and the location is truly amazing. We vowed to RETURN!
We did return in May 2021. We stayed for 5 nights and it was all that we could hope for and so much more. Long walks on the beach, beautiful homes, warm and welcoming folks. We had Todos, and we had Pescadero and the beach. Peter, Will, Greg, Alex.....thanks guys!
So this most recent trip. We had a great time again. The waves were up and it was really fun getting barrelled several times. It was great having Peter there pushing the quest in the water. Peter works at Ceritos Beach Inn and is ready to GO, and is wonderful. I also had the priviledge of going in to the Private lands of the mountains to headwaters. Thank you Peter. Waterfall climbing, yes there is water, and a really immersive experience with the land. It was beautiful.
I recommend this hotel. A young family looking for family adventure, and those adventuristic souls. It is safe, it is comfortable, it is...
Read moreWhat's not to love about the Beach? Sun. Sand. Surf. I've heard it said that a bad day on the beach is better than any day at work. I kinda agree. Originally a well known spot for surfers in the Baja, Cerritos has a little something for everyone. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, towel and some cash (pesos or American dollars). You can rent chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and surfboards on the beach. Vendors will tempt you will colorful sarongs, silver charms, oversized hats, and other local handicrafts. If something catches your eye don't be afraid to bargin for the price you want. They want to make the sale as much as you want a souvenir. You can pass he day doing a host of thungs. Maybe spend the morning watching the surfers shred some waves. Once you're feeling adventurous you can get a lesson from one of the many surf stands on the playa (beach). If relaxation is more your thing. A tension relieving massage while listening to the waves is only a palapa (umbrella) away. Just look to one of the ladies with a massage table under a palapa and soon you'l be in heaven. I recommend Cecelia if she is available. She has magic hands. She will even visit you at your spot on the beach and massage your calves, sore from...
