Rancho De Costa — Hotel in Baja California Sur

Rancho de Costa is truly a slice of Heaven!! Driving there you feel like you are in middle of nowhere, which I love, but some may find intimidating. Once you walk onto the property and gaze out onto the Sea of Cortez and their beautiful (basically private) beach, you immediately know you are somewhere special. First and foremost I must complement the staff. Ramon, Evan, Enrique and Isabella were absolutely amazing!!!! They not only prepare delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner with the freshest food and make the PERFECT MARGARITA, but they were there to help fulfill any request. Whether it be arrange a fishing excursion and prepare a cooler for us with drinks and fresh breakfast burritos for the trip, or set up the snorkeling gear and paddle boards, they were always accommodating. The rooms are all 5 star with plenty of room and top of the line bedding. A massive Palapa in the center of the resort is the perfect place to have your meals or simply take refuge from the sun! Next to it is a perfectly maintained pool with cold crystal clear water. The only difficult decision I had to make while there was if I should hang by the pool or go down to the beach. Oh yeah, and how much time I should wait for my next margarita. Either way you won’t go wrong. The paddle boarding and snorkeling right from the beach is amazing. You will see a wide variety of fish, which you can then go back and catch while shore fishing. Or, if you really want to catch dinner, one of the local fishing guides can take you out to some of the best fishing in the world 20 minutes off shore. I am so happy that I discovered this gem! It will be OUR PLACE that we will go back to again and again.

This place is absolutely incredible! From the views, the private suites, the excellent food, the friendly staff, and of course the beautiful beach, you will never want to leave. Our family of 10 spent 5 nights at the Villa Marlin; which has 6 suite rooms, all with fabulous beach views. The huge palapa next to the pool was basically our living room for the week with incredible ocean views. The property faces east so the sunrises were amazing on the water. There's plenty to do for the whole family - a giant workout facility (including a tennis and basketball court), a family movie theater, stand up paddle boards, a coral beach for exploring, snorkeling gear, and of course world class deep sea fishing. The staff was also wonderful...Johnny and crew did everything they could to ensure we had fabulous food, including plenty of fresh guacamole, beers, and homemade pina coladas! I can't wait...

If you're looking for a destination that is the literal embodiment of the word 'perfection', Rancho de Costa is the place for you and your family. We have booked several vacations at this amazing property and each visit has been truly spectacular. The location is picture-perfect with a beautiful and private white sand beach and great snorkeling for the whole family. My kids and I booked local fishing guides which was a great way to experience the ocean. One of the best parts about the resort is the attentive, friendly staff. They met all of our needs and we enjoyed the fresh and traditional meals. This place is paradise and we enjoyed every minute of our time at the Bay of Dreams and will definitely be back to...
