What a gem! We booked Rancho Espinoza for one night. I wish we had booked for a entire week - lots to do. Sweet, sweet, authentic rancho that backs up to a spectacular birding location. Plus the Bill (the owner who lives on site) has hummingbird feeders out front. A vermillion Flycatcher was the first to greet us when we arrived. There also an easy path down to the source of the springs which flow in town. Lots of great birds! Breakfast was a serve yourself style (just perfect). When we arrive we were offered fresh oranges which we quickly made into the best orange margaritas around. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. A wonderful stay.

What a find! We stayed only one night on our drive back home but if we could we would stay longer! Warm welcome from the host, BEAUTIFUL and spotless room, cozy common space where you can make tea, coffee, your own freshly squeezed orange juice, have a shot of tequila… And on top of it they are pet friendly! Mattress was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. When it was time to wake up I really didn’t want to leave the bed ;) I will definitely spread the word to friends and anyone looking for recommendations about this perfect stay. PS We stayed in Los Abuelos master bedroom Private entrance+bath

We traveled to San ignacio with our friends visiting from England. The hosts were very friendly ensured we had everything we needed and comfortable they made us feel at home. Espinoza Rancho is a perfect setting to relax and explore. The architecture amazing and beautifully decorated. We highly recommend staying here and we certainly will be returning.

We wanted to spend a couple of nights in San Ignacio to explore a bit, we were traveling with 2 dogs and we were so happy we decided to book the Casita at Rancho Espiniza. For us it was the perfect space and it was HUGE. We were travelling further south for about a month and had lots of gear, still we felt the Casita was way more spacious than we imagined. It's right off the highway so you do have to drive into town, but that drive is gorgeous with all the palm trees from the natural oasis. The Rancho has horses, peacoks, and a resident dog. The casita is separate from the big house but super easy access to unload/load gear and the patio was nice to have for the dogs. Its a beautiful place and the sunrises are awesome as are the sunsets. We would...

We stayed at Rancho Espinoza when motorcycling to Cabo and back from the California/Mexico border. Stayed two nights and took a day trip to see the gray whales in San Ignacio Lagoon. Were a little confused when we got there because the place was wide open and no keys or combinations needed. William was extremely responsive and explained what we needed to know to not only park the motorcycles safely but settle in for the evening. Super easy to find, access, and use. There were six of us with plenty of space, hot water etc. Beds were comfortable. We parked our motorcycles around the back but didn't really feel it was necessary. Had a very comfortable and easy time. Right off the main highway but it was quiet. Would definitely stay...
