We have been camping here since I was a kid and unfortunately we had a really bad experience with the host on the Mario side, so if you go be sure to book a site on the other side and not his! We rented the largest site azteca with 3 other families and were relieved when we arrived and the whole campground was empty. Unfortunately the camp host was right next to us watching our every move through the reed fence :( he told us we were making too much noise even tho we weren’t playing any music and were just talking and laughing and children crying etc. we were also scolded when our charcoal accidently created a large flame on top of the bbq and were told we were not welcome back because we were making fires outside of designated areas! This is after we paid $700 DOLLARS!! There’s not even a lightbulb or a roll of toilet paper provided and the gates are constantly locked on everything. We tried to be as respectful to the campground as we could but just got a very unwelcoming vibe from the Mario team. Love this canyon it’s so beautiful, but definitely stay will stay the other brothers side next...

OASIS IN THE BAJA DESERT, Guadalupe Hot Springs Canyon, Baja, Mexico. This place is an OASIS hidden in the Desert of Baja California at Guadalupe Canyon Hot Springs, Baja, Mexico, Only 2 hours and a half from Calexico, California. (5 hours to San Diego).

If you like to visit new and magic places and also make some Hikes or Simply relaxing underneath a Palm, while you are taking a hot springs shower, this is the place, DONT FORGET TO GO IN A 4x4 CAR, small car could get Stuck in the Sand and Rocks, Dont Forget To bring with you water, food, Boots,or tennis. This place is far from the nearest principal road the best season to VISIT are FROM SEPTEMBER TO MARCH.

DONT VISIT ON SUMMER SEASON, JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST because is Dangerous.

Very nice place to get away and hide out! Not very far from San Diego (3 Hr +-) Drive over dry lake for about an hr to what looks like a scary desert but at the end you will see amazing huge green olive trees farm (run by Italian Company), then soon amazing oasis in the middle of scary HOT desert. Oasis full of palm trees, spring water (tubs), hike to near by COLD fresh water river coming from the mountain ahead, water falls and the mountain itself. Camping area is available, there is NOTHING here except (bathrooms) so you need to bring everything one needs to survive out in the woods/desert. Drive reliable 4 wheel or SUV type car, road may be a little bumpy and tough for smaller cars. You will enjoy the quietness, the natural springs, and most of all being away from phones, internet, and modern civilization crap :-) can't live without them but need to get away every now and then. Go outside and look around -- it is prettier...

This place is magical ✨✨Beautiful and super friendly staff. Thanks to Manuel we felt safe and well taken care of. To get there was a little tricky but follow the signs and pay close attention to them while on the dirt road. Take the fork road to the right approx 30 miles from the street when you get on the dirt road. Look for Guadalupe Canyon signs. You will need a truck or 4x4 vehicle since you go over very rough terrain including large boulders. You take all your own gear so be sure to over pack! We stayed at the El Sol site which over looked the canyon. It was incredibly beautiful and serene. Highly recommend this to anyone up for an adventure!

This place is amazing. Especially ... and perhaps mostly if you take the hike to the third waterfall. It's a bit of a way, and at one point you may have to abandon your shoes and wade up through a small river to make it, but it's awesome. The private tubs are also nice and incredibly clear, but they sometimes get TOO hot. Be aware ... You definitely need 4-wheel drive. The road is pretty rocky getting there and there are some routes throughout the dry lake that might put you in some really soft sand that'll sink your vehicle. Also, keep in mind that there's absolutely no electricity. Come prepared.
