Hotel Libertad — Hotel in Baja California

Since we had a 7-hour layover at the airport, my family and I needed a location to stay the night. The taxi driver who overcharged us at the pickup location was the beginning of it all. For the ride to the hotel, he charged us 800 pesos. Be wary of the taxi drivers because they frequently overcharge tourists. This hotel was suggested by the cab driver. When we arrived, the front desk clerk increased the price of the accommodation. The room was disgusting. Spiders in the bathroom, mold on the ceilings, and dirty blankets. Just awful. When I arrive from the airport I asked for a motel nearby the airport cuz we were doing a layover the taxi overcharged this 800 pesos when it's only 200 pesos from what I found out also upon getting to the motel the motel was even worse at all so overpriced the rooms were very dirty spiders mold on the roof and just everything was super dirty sheets the blankets everything smelled old and Rusty worst experience ever and Mexico never been to a motel so dirty that disgusted me and my family that we literally got right back into the cab which also overcharges again to go back to the airport please do not come here 👎 worst place ever refrain from coming here this hotel needs to...

I recently arrived in Tijuana from Orange County, California. Paid for 7 days and I have to say, despite the fact the hotel is not in Beverly Hills, the price was right, the hospitality was superb, owner and housekeeping were very responsive to my minimal requests and the access to most necessities were very helpful during my stay. If you are expecting perfection, don't come to Mexico. I've read all the other reviews and most are just way to picky for such a place. I recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget. I am super picky.
