Hotel Boutique Mare mio Puerto Arista. — Hotel in Chiapas

Beautiful hotel right on the beach so excellent location. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is good but service is SLOW so plan to kick back with a couple of drinks before your food arrives. We stayed over the weekend, which was a mistake for us. |We were in the Palmera room, which has a wonderful view of the ocean and a beautiful thatched room, but no sound proofing whatsoever so it was super LOUD and noisy from the adjacent rental apartment and bar down the road. The music did not stop playing until 4am Friday night and 2am Saturday night. Impossible to sleep. We would have enjoyed our stay here more if we came on a weekday as the beach is amazing.|The beach is clean with fine soft sand and no pebbles or shells so easy to walk on. The beach has a very gradual slope so safe to wander into the water. You need to walk pretty far to get it up to waist height. The waves are gentle and brings in a warm current of water. We paid a lot for what seemed to be very little. The room was nice but the rest of the property seemed very tired and poorly maintained. The pool was full of algae and sand. MUY MAL SERVICIO • Entregaron el cuarto hasta las 5 pm. Sin souvenirs, con toallas y habitación, sucios. • Cada día preguntaban: Se va hacer el aseo de la habitación? o teníamos que decirles que lo hicieran. • Llegamos un domingo y el lunes a las 10 am llegó un grupo de chicas en estado de ebriedad como huéspedes (amigas de una de las encargadas), pusieron una bocina y convirtieron en un antro el hotel. • El miércoles a las 9 pm. En la sección de al lado del mismo hotel, que es una casa B&B, comenzó a sonar un grupo musical a todo volumen. Entraron como 5 camionetas 4x4, y como 10 personas. La fiesta termino a las 2:30 am y no dejaron dormir a nadie. • El hotel no tiene cocinera, y piden la comida de otro lado. • El diseño y el costo, el más caro de Arista, lo hacen ser boutique. Pero falta el buen servicio. • El personal del hotel intenta, pero se ve que no tienen ni idea de como tratar a los huéspedes.
