Gamma Ciudad Juárez — Hotel in Chihuahua

Edit : I'm speechless. Frond desk does whatever they want 🙈 I asked them NOT to do the housekeeping on my room ON PURPOSE, because I don't need my bed made daily and fresh towels daily! It's driving me crazy, what a waste of resources! I come back from the gym to find the cleaning lady inside and a strong smell of chemicals that I cannot stand !!!! I went to the front desk furious. Now I'm waiting outside of my room for this smell to evaporate while I cannot even go back inside my room to take a shower.

This hotel is very, very nice inside. You can get a quiet room on the parking lot side, or a one inside with a view. The restaurant is spacious, the pool and lounge are beautiful. The only thing is that in the lobby they need some aroma because it smells like the pipes. During the day the hotel seems to be almost empty. Gym is pretty decent, the staff is attentive. I just don't understand the need for housekeeping service if im only staying in the hotel for 2 days. That's unnecessary. Also, please don't stamp toilet paper ! It's very inconvenient to use...

We have stayed at this Gamma several times over the years. This last stay on May 14 was very unpleasant starting with the front desk treatment by Joseline. We approached the front desk and let her know we had a reservation. She looked up and said, “checkin is at 3, it’s 2:00” and looked back down. After almost 50 years in the hospitality and service industry, a better response would have been, “would you like to go to the bar or sit by the pool while I check if your room will be ready before 3?” Or, “our restaurant is open,…”. But no, she just looked down and continued with paperwork. Our room was ok even though recently remodeled, couch cushions significantly stained. In the am, it took over 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower, no blow dryer and only 1 coffee cup. Called front desk at 6:30, no answer. Other good choices in the area for future stays. I was having a great stay because the room was nice and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and respectful but unfortunately at 10:30pm housekeeping came to my room and woke us up and when I didn't answer the door soon enough they went away and then called the room waking up my son also but I forgave them for the mistake until the next morning at about 9:30am I was at the pool with my family at the hot tub that was not hot and asked a guy out there cleaning if I could put some furniture up there and an umbrella and he said yes but a few minutes later another man came out talking very disrespectfully to me in front of my family for bringing the furniture and umbrella up there and I told him that I did ask and was given permission and he was still very disrespectful to me. I will never come back to Hotel Gamma for this reason and I could not recommend finding a different hotel more for any other...
