Creel is all about tourism and Hotel Colibri is one of small independent hotels in the area. Most remarking - the cleanest hotel I've ever been to in Mexico. Friendly owner who takes a great care of his guests. Private locked parking (albeit a little small). ||As typical in Creel - wifi is spotty and not really usable. Same with 3G/4G/whatever. I just disconnected from the world for a couple of days which solved the problems. The room is tiny but we only used it to spend the nights so|not a big deal. Lastly, it's a bit out of the center, on the main road which can be a pro or a con. ||Overall - it's a great place to use as a base for exploring...
Read moreI liked the hotel a lot, but the internet/wifi service was really bad, almost unusable. We did report it to the front desk, but we were told that it is like that everywhere on Creel.
If you need the internet to upload photos or work, I would stay away. (Random disconnects, super slow)
Rooms: 4/5. They are small; it's fine for two people but might be too crowded for 3-4 ppl. They have nice hot water and use split systems for room heating, which is great.
