Pros:||The two ladies who work at the front desk are helpful and friendly||Rooms have air con, the bed and pillows are very comfortable||Shower is excellent||Rooms have Sky TV if you like watching football||Nice balcony to relax in during the evenings and they sell red wine by the bottle too||They organised a tour for us to see the main sites of the valleys and waterfall etc and even refunded us some money as extra people joined us for the tour which was professional and appreciated||Breakfast is very good and uses high quality ingredients: granola, fruit yogurt; waffles with jam/syrup; eggs, potato with chorizo and tortillas; coffee; juice||Coffee available all day||Right on the main plaza so very easy to access the restaurants etc in town - there is a market selling food right outside the hotel from the early afternoon onwards||Chepe theme is nice and quaint ||Wifi works well - this was particularly appreciated after having no access to it at all in our previous hotel in Posada Barrancas||Cons:||Walls are very thin so you can literally hear every word said by the guests next door to you - this was pretty annoying when the people in the room next to us arrived at 1am and didn’t shut up until about 2:30am||The sink was badly designed in our room so that the tap wouldn’t work without pushing back the faucet as it was stuck...

Read moreThis hotel is definitely one for train buffs! There is so much train memorabilia around, and even the wash basin in our room had a trin painted on it. It is only a couple of minutes stroll from the railway station. We were offered a lift in one of their vehicles, but there was no need. We mainly chose this as it is the nearest hotel to the station.||The online booking was very easy, and I sent a number of emails about the possibility of tours etc, and got a pretty instant reply (in English). We did use their services for a transfer from our hotel in Chihuahua - which went very smoothly.||Breakfast was very good, but it doesn't officially start until 8am, which is rather late, particularly as it is net to the station and the trains depart before then. However, there is always coffee available - 24 hrs per day.||Our room was quite small (but so was the price), but comfortable and the shower had very hot water. There was also a flar screen TV in the room.||Those on the front desk however do not speak any English (but then I only know a few words in Spanish).
