I stayed here Friday to Sunday. I was in town visiting friends. I stayed in room 224, a great junior suite. I arrived early on Friday before check in at about 1 pm. The wonderful lady at the front desk said the room would not be ready until 3pm. I was ok with this as I was early. I waited in their lobby for time to pass and within 30 minutes, the lady at the desk said my room was ready. I was so surprised and pleased that they had expedited my check in. ||The common areas of the hotel including the lobby and breakfast area was very clean and nice and new.||The staff at the front desk and breakfast area were exceptional. The morning breakfast they supply was fresh and delicious. Many options for your breakfast wants. ||Outside adjacent to the hotel in their parking lot is open air bar that serves hamburgers, hot dogs and other grilled meats. The staff was great here too. The bar is open from 3pm to 11pm. I enjoyed the food and beers at this nice space. ||There is an oxxo convenience store right next to the hotel where you can get items you may want.||The house keeping staff was very friendly and cleaned my room very well. It was spotless.||I was impressed with this property and the next time I visit Ramos, I will return to this property. I hope this property continues its conditions as it ages in time as I know this is a...
Read moreOne Saltillo Aeropuerto Hotel appears to have a good price for what it promises. News flash: It is a horrible choice and vastly overpriced for the (lack of) amenities. filth all over the room like lint and hairs (is it a mammalian zoo?) roach (in bathroom) disinfectant smell upon entering is putrid breakfast: no fork, almost empty per attendant “porqué llegó la gente” had totopos and watery salsa with a naranjada t that was the color of water from the faucet promises a gym. Gym is under maintenance closed, no equipment is inside - zero. Spoke with manager who says sorry when I say I chose the hotel specifically for having a gym I need traveling and his answer was pure apathy and avoidance of any responsibility with a practiced fake smile. -The worst is this: walls transmit sound and radios and TVs are on all night not to mention being g a few feet away from a major trucking highway. place appears owned by Fiesta Inn but no indication anywhere of anything except poor quality parking area too small housekeeping staff speaking loudly and vulgar in hallway (remember walls are paper thin) room is tiny like a mausoleum but it is the care and condition that create a disaster here as other hotels make do and have a welcoming atmosphere. Not here!! -Hot water not consistent. Froze.

Read moreI think this was our seventh stay here. I experienced a friendly check in and was given a coupon for two free beers at the bar. I can't drink, but thanks for the thought. I found the room key didn't work, returned to the desk to fix the problem and was given another coupon for two beers. Once in the room I discovered no bottled water. I returned to the desk and was told they would be delivered to the room. They weren't.||We went to the new hamburger stand. It looks very nice. The waiter gave us menus and asked if we were ready to order. I said I'd need a moment to read the menu before ordering. We waited 45 minutes, waving menus, trying to get his attention, but after driving all day, sitting on uncomfortable stools, listening to loud music, smelling cigarette smoke we decided to go to the Oxxo next door. We bought burritos and water for dinner. I miss the days when the front desk offered to order pizza and salad and have it delivered to the room.||The room was clean and comfortable as usual. Breakfast was ready and hot at 7 am. Those things are appreciated.||We're Marriott rewards members, but I think we'll explore another option...
