Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Culiacan — Hotel in Culiacán Rosales

Nice and very clean, fast check-in, close to the airport. not recommended for a weekend stay, breakfast is terrible (especially on Sunday) and the hotel restaurant is closed, so either you order from a nearby restaurant or take a taxi. The road is busy and dangerous so walking to a restaurant is definitely not recommended. ||Order one of the suits, is much better then the other rooms and price is ok. Rooms are basic, towels terrible, lot of noise from the air condition and the toilets air extractor (that works automatically when you put the light on). before coming to Culiacan (probably for business, nothing to do there as a tourist) check where will you be working, if it's around the airport or outside the city - take this hotel, otherwise choose another. I needed to stay at the Microtel Inn by Wyndham during a quick procedure at the nearby private Angeles Hospital (just steps away). This was during the COVID-19 pandemic and Sinaloa in a "red" status on the stoplight. Generally I was very impressed with the entire team there and it is obvious they have excellent leadership. They were very strict and detail oriented with the new health protocols, going way above and beyond. But in addition to this they remained very helpful, attentive, and gracious hosts. I was planning on sanitizing my whole room after checking in, but after the arrival process I knew I didn't need to! I walked into the room and everything was spotless and I felt safe. We visit to Culiacan at least once a year and this was our first time trying out this hotel. I really enjoyed it and would return. The beds were comfy and worked perfectly for my little family of 3. They have free breakfast and even during the evening they had complimentary snacks and drinks. I don't know if that's typical but it was when we were there. They have safety latches on the door which is nice to keep my curious toddler in the room without having to physically watch the door. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
