Ramada Encore by Wyndham Guadalajara Aeropuerto — Hotel in El Salto

The only reason I gave this hotel 2 stars instead of one is because they allowed us to do an early check in which was appreciated. When we checked in they gave us two free alcoholic drink coupons for their restaurant. When we went to the restaurant after getting situated, we gave our coupons and asked for two tequila mixed drinks. The waitress took our coupons and short minutes after came back and said she was sorry but they no longer had tequila. So we ended up having to substitute for vodka and when we received the drinks they didnt taste like they even had alcohol. When I glanced at the full bar they had, I clearly saw they had different types of tequila available but I'm assuming they didn't have the cheap tequila to use for the free drinks thats why we didn't get the tequila drinks. We had dinner and my husband asked for chicken wings when he got them we were confused. They were chicken nuggets with Buffalo sauce poured on them. They were even cold. They tasted so disgusting we couldn't even eat them. My son ordered a pizza his favorite thing to eat and he said it was nasty and couldn't eat it either. When we went back to our room for a shower, the water pressure was very low and the water came out cold and hot and could not just keep one water temperature. We would not...

Stayed one night 6/25/25. There Is heavy traffic due to construction on the road, we missed our entrance to the hotel as it it’s very difficult to see especially during the night and our map took us around and towards the back of the hotel through a very scary location (about 9pm) and out to some houses to get out to the main street to the hotel. Seemed scary because we ddnt know the place but thank God people walking around were helpful and guided us out to the main street. We got to the hotel everything is clean , the room felt stuffy, the AC was on but was just blowing air making the room feeling worse. Idk if it was the change of weather from Nayarit to GDL but two of my kids got diarrhea and one of my kid got diarrhea and vomiting the next day, and I got a bad case of a flu seemed like Covid idk my husband also got diarrhea. It must have been travelers diarrhea idk but it sucks to be on vacation...

After a 6 month battle with Ramada I’ve finally given up so I’m hitting them where it hurts. Social media and reviews.

I’d booked with the hotel to stay 1 night next to the airport as I had a connecting flight the next morning. Unfortunately my flight from Dallas to Guadalajara got cancelled at the last minute due to technical issues with the plane.

I contacted the hotel immediately to explain the situation. On the phone they seemed pretty accommodating but then afterwards my booking got cancelled as a no show and only a tiny portion of the booking was refunded.

Despite multiple emails and follow up calls to try to get the full refund, they just ignored me. Yes I know I could go down the travel insurance route but I was hoping that Ramada would have the decency to understand my situation and do the right thing. .
