Hotel Ecce Inn — Hotel in Guanajuato

Unbelievable. Best hotel i have ever stayed at in Guanajuato State. Believe me when I say this is a hidden gem, very quiet except for the occasional morning plane landing nearby.

Night desk staff was very helpful and showed how much she loves her job and how much she appreciates her bosses.

Daytime desk staff upon checkout (Natalia) was not exactly rude but she could not break away from her phone call to answer questions I had. The priority is always the guest who is standing in front of you.

The bed is extremely comfortable. New Egyptian-thread sheets.

The shower is spacious, water is hot.

The floors are tile, meaning there is no odor of dirty carpet. Because, there is no carpet.

The refrigerator is large and works very well.

The security is fantastic. You must be let on to the property by the guards. The door to the small patio does lock.

The employees are quite helpful, especially Ramiro, who accompanied me to my room upon arrival, so that he could verify that everything was in working order.

The sala de autos contains numerous beautiful classic cars which I believe belong to the owner. I am only guessing. I have owns 36 classic and sports cars in my life (and 6 motorcycles) so this room of classic cars particularly interested me.

I never used the pool, but it looks very well kept. It is heated, I believe. And it was being used by guests there, as I was leaving. There is a gym, as well. Didn't use... but it is nice.

The restaurant, will be for my next visit. Looking forward to it.

I stayed at the Ecce Inn as our company was hosting a seminar there and our whole experience was excellent - beautiful rooms, very responsive and friendly staff and the amazing work of Rosa in the background who delivered on every request we had, in order to make our event amazing, which it was! I had found the Ecce Inn during a web search and reached out to them in regards to hosting a corporate event. I am so glad I found this facility as it has the perfect blend of being away from it all, whilst being only 10 minutes from Leon Airport. Event catering and service for the breakfast and lunch was outstanding and the location has very good wifi service, AV ( no screen but the projection on wall was good) There is also a well equipped gym, outdoor pool and nice bar ( excellent bartender) and onsite restaurant with good food! Pepe was amazing, always friendly and spoke excellent English and also a great bartender who really knows how to make a cocktail! There is construction going on right now in the access road to the hotel but still not a problem to access. I hope to return soon for a vacation, San Miguel is only 1 hour 20 minutes away and Guanajuato about 40 so it is a good landing spot for a few days to chill and...

The hotel itself is beautiful the front desk is very friendly, the rooms are really nice but the rooms are not clean, if you look under the bed you will see a lot of dust, same in the closets, the door of the bathroom where I stayed never got cleaned it had a stain of what what seemed to be soap or toothpaste. The service in the restaurant is very poor, they have the staff but they are unprofessionals, especially during breakfast and lunch, the dinner crew was more attentive and more kind specially Lizbeth she was very friendly. The cleaning staff some of them are friendly others very rude. The place has a lot of potential but staff is not the best. They also have private events that seemed to end at midnight, if you stay close to the private even room you won't be able to sleep until they finish because the noise is very loud, There's no coffee/tea maker in the rooms like the restaurant says. The price is very good for the location and the size of the rooms but whoever manages the hotel needs to work in the staff, probably some outside professional customer service training.
